I was reading Primordium, when I noticed a line on Page 35. “A Forerunner had to be present for the Cryptum to be unsealed.” I wonder if that applies to Halo 4 with the Cryptum we have all seen. Which brings me to my next point. In the E3 trailer the Didact says “I have long waited this day, Reclaimer.” Do you think Chief has some Forerunner traits that could unseal the Cryptum? Guilty Spark did say "You ARE Forerunner in Halo 3…
What if Chief is a Forerunner with his memory erased? O.o
I don’t see how that would work. Would that suggest all Spartan 2’s were forerunner. (Like I said Don’t know how that would work)
If you read th novels you should know that once humans were as evolved as forerunners maybe some you know mingled and did uhhhhhh… Things and repoulated having both human and fore runner genes sooo that’s a little bit of my theory
by forerunner it probably means reclaimers aswell.

It’s kind of convenient though, this Spartan is the ultimate messiah for the humans.
Maybe the UNSC caught a Forerunner and destroyed his mind, implanted memories and made him Master Chief.

All humans can use forerunner tech. The term “Reclaimer” is keyed as “Those left with a responsibility from a previous other.” Basically, it’s up to humanity to take the legacy of the Forerunners, not that we are them.

Maybe it was written that a Forerunner had to be present, but actually it’s whoever carries the mantle. Back then this would have only been the forerunners, but if humanity are the inheritors of the mantle maybe they can now unseal a cryptum.

At the end of halo 3 343 guilty sparks says this to the chief “You are the child of my makers. Inheritor of all they left behind. You are Forerunner.”
Could be one of them geas thingies.
If you remember humans have the ability to activate foreunner technology like Anders in halo wars and Johnson in halo 3.

That is a fairly disturbing thought/image you are putting into my mind. They are physically and genetically similar but forerunners were always larger, and kinda weird looking in the face…
