Please don’t fall for the whole “reduce the store prices to look like the good guy” act. The industry does this on purpose and they have been doing it on purpose as long as games as a service has been a thing.
They set the prices way too high, act clueless about the prices being ridiculous, and then lower them to a still fairly ridiculous amount so the entire community heaps on praise, and throws money at them all at once.
I have seen companies do this over and over and over and over. It is the oldest trick in the book at this point.
