An idea to potentially improve armor core events

I’ve been brewing up an idea in my free time that I believe could improve armor core events and at the same time bring a community aspect to the game that feels very lacking right now.

My idea is that the event pass should be ordered not linearly, but in trees. There would be 2 or 3 trees, and each tree will have the progression for one whole set of cosmetics for the event specific core. The player gets to select which tree they want to progress for the given event week.

Now for the community integration I thought that the tree someone selects to progress could also be a team they join. Anyone who selects a tree joins the team for that tree. At the end of the week the team with the most points gets rewarded.
To get points all the individual player has to do is play the event game mode, wear the event armor core, wear the armor specific to their teams tree, and/or complete event challenges. All you need to do is one of those things to get points but more points are awarded if all criteria are met.
The reward for a team making the most points in the week could be challenge swaps and xp boost, or even emblem. I don’t think armor should be a reward but maybe other think differently

So as to not leave people out, each new week the event happens a new team can be selected. This way everyone gets a chance to unlock the armor eventually.

So that basically it. A rough idea in hopes of finding a way to bring the community together with a new way to interact and a new way to progress. I’ll be ending with a few bullet points of ideas that didn’t make it into the larger texts

. You unlock the helmet first in each tree, as a visual indicator for what team your on (if you wear it)
. Earning points for your team is passively if you play the even mode and/or equip the even core and armor pieces
. The hope is that people will rally and hype the team they are on, but I think there should be a way to team up in games or something like that

Thank you for reading and I hope you criticize and discuss this in the comments.
