As of now, in Halo Infinite, only way to gain XP is via Challenges. This pose an issue, as I tend to see players and I also do this, only partake in matches to complete my challenges instead of the goal. What should happen, is the game uses your score in an equation to figure out how much XP you get from a match. My idea is that you take the final score, and divide by 20 if you win, for example: If I get a score of 2,600 and I win, I would gain 130 XP, if I lose, it should divide by 40, giving me only 65 XP. This would be more efficient because now players would focus both on getting the objective, along with completing challenges, to gain the max amount of XP from a match as they can.

Not a bad idea but progression would still be stupidly slow if you can’t do those challenges for whatever reason. Like not getting the right map, or weapon, or vehicle, etc.
