An Idea to make Clans Matter in Halo 4

here is a random idea i came up with while eating some food that i think would be awesome for Halo 4

so COD has Clans Right… Well we need something like that but BETTER, so here’s my idea
when you first jump into Halo 4 you get the chance to team up with a group of friends and form a squad, once that squad is formed a leader is selected and you can then do team customization (i.e. colored stripes and team emblems)and you can also write a short back story. once that is done you and your team can then compete in war games together, gaining them higher customization options for your squad (such as an improved version of the AA efficiency specialization that will allow you to use it for a further .5 of a second)
another segment to this idea is that a random generator uses assets from multiplayer and spartan ops to create random missions that once completed are saved to a service record and are then used to influence further missions. and now for the cherry on top, once every month or so 343 could host a team competition consisting of various challenges and war games matches that if completed with a high enough score and if the teams service record reaches preset standards, the team has the chance to become…CANON.
once the team is canon further customization options are available. other benefits of becoming canon may also include references
anyway once you have gained canonical status you can have the option to mentor younger squads by assigning them challenges and editing missions.

and now some explanation for little things i have probably poorly talked about
squad size max: 4-though you may have the option to join with other squads to form companies ( 3 squads per company)
squad customization: by this i mean little things like creating a secondary emblem for your squad or like adding colored stripes and patterns to armor like that of red teams leader from halo wars ( with the squad leader possibly having increased stripes)
mission parameters: missions will not be made in a linear fashion, they will feature two objectives: main and secondary. the main is the one that must be completed and or failed if a time limit is in place, secondaries feature elements that will affect further missions on a game play and story level to a more detailed extent than the primaries. example: mission 1 could have players destroying a covenant relay as the primary, the secondary would be to kill an elite ultra within three minutes of the missions start, the second mission could have players trying to destroy a convoy within five minutes, if the ultra was killed you will have the element of surprise and a relatively easy time, however if he escaped the enemy will be more numerous and the element of surprise will be lost.
another element to this could be a new menu option and or leader board option that would let you compare stats with other squads, track your squads progress, and take on other squads in matches. ( wow i sure do say squad a lot don’t I)

this feature could offer players a much greater experience in the halo universe as it allows them to actually be apart of it themselves as apposed to living it through the shoes of others (i.e John-117, the Rookie and the spartan team from spartan ops)
