I have seen many posts complaining about the 12-Man fire-teams destroying in Warzone, and just farming at the end. That got me thinking, what if they included Spartan Companies actually into the game, with a dedicated Company playlist so that there would be two teams facing off. Then the company commendations could only be earned in that playlist.
PS- I don’t know the true extent of the damage that Achilles has had, I broke my monitor a couple weeks ago and haven’t been able to play. I know it was fairly bad before.
-Teams of 6 and up against other teams of 6 and up (Randoms will be present but both teams will have the largest fireteams of equal sizes)
-These kills commendations only apply to Slayer matches in Arena
-Change requirement to wins instead of kills
Any of those, I think, would be sufficient, or a step in the right direction.
I’m pretty sure he meant to talk about the spawn kill (enemy not destroying the core on purpose) to boost the kill commendation for a company and that is an issue. It is not really something that can be solved, but it is really bad sportsmanship.

not destroying the core right away actually gives the opposing team a chance to fight back and sneak out to cap an armory

This is not the problem. I have a company and we often get to jump in warzone in a 12 man party/fireteam. We get to play random and destroy them but sometimes we face other 12 man party that destroy us.
We are good sportsmanship so if we have 3 bases we’ll try our best to destroy the core. That is usually done in less than 5 minutes. On the other hand, some company are farming Kill commendation and do not destroy the core on purpose, but enjoy destroying us in our own core. They do not destroy any boss, warden, etc but only kill us.

Ok fine once we cap an armory. They sent out 4 Spartan to cap the armory again which open our core and repeat the process…

That would make it impossible, because how would you get vehicle all the vehicle related commendations? There isn’t a real problem, 12 man teams were doing this well before the Achilles was announced.

Your logic is incredibly ignorant… I play with my company as much as possible but when I don’t have a team to play with (which it does happen whoda thunk) I’d like to be able to play a “casual” game of one of the very few “social” playlists there are without getting matched against company after company spawn camping prolonging the games as long as possible just to farm kills and I can’t just quit out without worrying about getting banned. At least before there were a lot less chances of getting matched against a full team and if you did and you were getting stomped the game would at least be over quickly so you can get on with it and get into a new game. And sorry “don’t play warzone” isn’t a valid option sure I could play other game types but I don’t want to I’d like to play my favorite game type…

BTB but then again its the same issue because of the limited options
arena based will only make warzone less relevant and we all know 343 wants their warzone project to have the full spotlight

I haven’t played in over a month due to XB1 repair, so I don’t know nor have heard of this. I can tell you unless they forced Spartan Companies to play against each other, it wouldn’t work. Why play against each other for an unlock when you can play against Randoms that hardly communicate.

Having it be limited to Arena/BTB would be terrible. BTB has very few air vehicles and hijacking is a rare occurrence. You can’t fix this problem unless you do something drastic that will make getting Achilles take literally 10-20x as long as it already does take to get it.

But would take forever, there’s only 1-2 maps with air vehicles on them, and with no voting system you’d just have to pray you played on that map.

I do tend to steam roll people but I will usually blow up the core at 10 minutes (so we get max points) most of the time, but if I am having a bad day then you will have a bad day

Because we simply can’t fix several things with one update?
-Map rotation: Implement system that choose map based on overall least played map and gametype among all players chosen for the match.
-1-2 maps with air vehicles: As I said, BTB maps with commendation performing capabilities. The present maps are forged, there’s nothing preventing them from forging more. Even then, Heavies anyone?
