have a setting like gta 5 has with personal vehicles. You have 3 settings for personal reqs. This would not effect enemy’s JUST friendlys so it does not break the game.
Option a for reqs - everyone on the team can pick up or get into your reqs (vehicles they can get in without you)
option B. Fireteam only. Random teammates would not be allowed to enter your vehicles without you in it and would boot them out when you get out. And randoms cannot take your guns on the ground.(fireteam members can operate your stuff and pickup without you)
option C nobody on your team can handle your stuff or get into without you in it and boots them out no matter if they are in fireteam or not.
Boom problem solved, no more req stealing
That doesn’t sound very Halo-like.

It stops friendly req stealing and that’s what matters
I guess you guys don’t want to solve the problem

-Yoink- levels detected. Its over 9000
OP vision of warzone must be very bad to hate the weapon system
If thats the case OP should stay away from all shooter games since most of them use the same weapon drops mechanic

You should get better at the game so that you don’t die and drop your precious weapons.
The point of a REQ system is once you lost it, you lost it. Once you die, it’s open to anyone, they even said this before halo 5’s release.

There has to be a problem in the first place. There isn’t. So no solution needed. Halo is a team game.

I kind of like it, as I HATE it when teammates take my weapons & I can’t find them again when I respawn half a frakin’ map away. War zone should have worked this out a bit more, especially since they DO charge real world money for reqs. Evn without paying cash, I still don’t spend the req points for YOU to have my gear. Go git your own damn reqs.

sounds like you got your prophets bane stolen and then someone drove it into the deadzone on darkstar with a ghost

You guys who actually think this is a problem don’t know what you’re talking about. The way you make it sound like is a team mate or enemy spartan walked up to you and bullied you into giving your gun away. Sorry, the only way to drop your “precious” Req is to either swap weapons with something on the ground (your fault) or if you die with it (also your fault). Don’t blame people for picking it up after you’ve died, free game after death. Just be better at the game and don’t die with your weapons. I definitely don’t understand why a team mate picking it up is a bad thing, they are on your team so them using it is only beneficial. The amount of nonsense this topic has brought up is astounding. You people think you’re entitled to everything in this game, sad little babies.
It isn’t a problem if it’s a feature, the REQs aren’t yours, It’s anyones game after you drop it.

Would work but only in non-competitive games.
Still, its up to you to be careful when you deploy something precious so don’t be sour if someone comes along and picks your shiny mythic REQ.

I haven’t seen it be a problem. I’d rather have a teammate pick up my weapon reqs than just let it despawn before I get back to it to pick it up, and other people being in the other seats my vehicles is the whole point of those vehicles.
Man people want a safety net for everything these days.
Mmmk, and what if me using your req allows me to cap an objective, give support to other team mates, lets me destroy a boss, ect ect? I think this just limits things. Our names aren’t on the guns, so it’s fair play if someone dies with it if you ask me. Sure I sucks if I die with my normfang and someone takes it, but I won’t hold a grudge.
This seems like the kind of problem that would surface if someone was bad at the game. You’re pretty bad at the game if you die with a important REQ.
get good. don’t die and this wont be a problem
