An idea for Req's in Halo 6.

The idea is to actually make them requisitions. CRAZY I KNOW RIGHT!

So hears the deal with Halo 5’s reqs. After a certain point which is heavily being felt right now by me, is that pay to win starts slowly creeping from the Woolie Hole ready to pounce on our sweet Doritos filled buttocks.

This will be a system that rewards hardcore, casuals and keeps money in 343i’s pockets without any back breaking flaws that I can see. If you spot any please inform me and I’ll try to evolve the system.

So I recommend that the Req system be transformed into a system of tokens.

DETAILS!
Bare with me this is hefty.

You win a game you get a Req token, you lose one you get a Rekt token. Let’s start with the victors.

To the victor goes the spoils-
With a Req token you can find that nice swaggy piece of armor that you’ve been waiting for and you spend that token on getting that. Certain armors and weapons will of course cost more of these Req tokens to obtain. We can’t have people just spamming Apple’s of Discord, OH BOY!

So ey, you guys want some extra incentive to getting your nice gear. Don’t worry, I got you. The top 25% of players in the game not the teams will each get a Holy Req Token. I.E. 4v4 two people will get one who were in the, 12v12, 6 people will get them. If it’s a tie well judging by the tie placements of Halo 6 which I don’t know the points will be distributed equally.

Get Rekt!
When you get a Rekt Token (place holder name) because you lost, it goes off into a pile. Once you accumulate several of these you can spend them as if they were your standard Req Tokens but with a slightly higher value because, come on you just lost 5 games in a row, you deserve something for your pain.

Now to stop those obvious abusers who’d intentionally throw games because Mickey Sick Long -Yoink- decided that he didn’t feel like playing Halo tonight but wanted all the reward. So he got some friends, threw dozens of games that night and got loads of Rekt tokens to spend buying all sorts of crap with none of the effort.

So I got a knee capper for those special people. Rekt points become weaker and weaker the more you cash them in, to the point of where they are useless if you do them in a row. Like I said, you have to lose several games to get a fully pieced together Rekt point, if you’ve lost so many games that you’ve gotten several of these, something is certainly up.

MONEY!
Just something for 343i to get their money out of this system, separate tokens should be sold as Req Packs. I.E. Early Rekt cash ins that’ll stun your Rekt points from spawning to stop those abusers, Holy Req Tokens (placeholder) regardless of your position in your team, and Req Token random generator where you will randomly get an extra token from victory or defeat.

Reqs In Play-
Right now in Halo 5 alot of people will refuse to use their Reqs if they’re losing because, it’d be a waste, others refuse to spawn them to put the nail in the enemies coffin for the same reason. So with this new system once you use a Req it isn’t removed from your list until it runs out of ammo or is destroyed. (mainly because teammates can help you out with this next idea.)

Once you spawn a Req in game you will get a little meter that’ll fill up the more pain your team causes the enemy with this Req. If that meter is full then your Req is not spent and will be refreshed. If it isn’t then you lost it for good. If an enemy takes your Req and uses it to fill up their bar, they get that Req for themselves to use later.
You see, everyone gets more rewards with sadly the same pain.

“Something i’m not too sure of that I want you guys to vote on, mainly because I can see it going bad. Decide if you get a Req to the end game screen should you keep it? Thank you have a nice day.”

Challenges
So I with this system, if they were to ever return it could also be tied to challenges, reward tokens for completing them.

Now we come to a new section for those you who wish for a return to the old days of earned armors.

That Classic Feel-
Each armor will have a specific task tied to it. If you complete this task, you can get the armor you want without having to spend a token. So you can get your perfection and land your BADASS ARMOR and save that token for a future purchase, AND To show that you earned this armor the OG way, there will be an emblem that hovers next to your profile card when you’re wearing it to show, that you were tested by the gods for your gear and didn’t have just receive a gift from RNGesus.

Also I feel like the armor descriptions should be how you unlock the armor.

So we have a Req system that keeps money in 343’s pockets, one that rewards skill along with holding out a hand to casuals, punishes those who might abuse it and allows you to get what you want while at the same time giving you more incentive to do better than your allies and enemies.

Heres a couple of Req ideas that 343i could us to scrap back some cash.

Crossovers, bring Req gear from halo 5 into Halo 6.
Reqagedon, buy 2 get one free.
Challenge Reqs, I.E. Get a perfection and be allowed to buy The Perfectionist Req Pack.
Reqs for Friends, buy Reqs for your friends.
Gambler-Get a random Req or varying value depending on money spent
Friends and Rivals of Old-Reqs that will allow purchase if you own games of certain titles. I.E Gears of War and Titanfall Reqs.

These seem like good ideas to me, I think they might work better than the current system.

Let’s not do REQS at all.

Why not?

I personally think it’s a terrible idea, all it is a cash grab and because people won’t quit buying them all the updates are 80% REQS instead of stuff we need

I normally don’t have a problem with things like this unless they hurt the game. This is just hey “Hey we’d like some extra cash, you can buy this if you want it.” That’s what Reqs really are but in Halo 5 it’s merely a slope that’ll soon come cashing down in Warzone and I’m feeling it right now with super power tanks. People who have a wild abundance have a clear power over those who don’t.

How about we have no reqs at all please but i guess thats 2 much to ask form $4$

I don’t have a huge problem with there being no reqs, but I made the list so I’m going to support it.

Yeah you can purchase them but you can also get points to buy them, so unless you’re just too lazy to earn a req you can buy one. You don’t have to buy them.

My suggestion?

Dont use them, maybe then we will
get a full complete properly developed game at launch

Well, 343i is their job to work on make better for halo 6!
