First off, I have been reading the forums recently and have seen that people demand innovation. If you disagree or think otherwise please use constructive criticism and elaborate to further improve the idea. This was inspired off of Halo 2.
The Fireteam System
So the FS (Fireteam System) is essentially a clan based system where you can get a group of friends together and play matchmaking and gain from it. You can name your Fire team whatever name you want, let’s just say this Fireteam is called “Fireteam Green”
So how does it work?
The fireteam system works by a group of people, (Maximum 8) getting together and creating social connections through gameplay. But the tool that is most important is the “Fireteam Rewards” what is it? It is a system where the Fireteam can use with their XP that they gained together (NOT XP they gained by themselves) to buy very small buffs to improve teamwork. Each buff is single use so you have to buy a new buff every game. These buffs are bought with “Fireteam Points” these Fire team Points (FP) are bought (as said before) the XP you gain together. The buffs are based around teamwork for example; “Shielding: Shields recharge 15% faster when close to your Fireteam member.” Remember, buffs can only be bought when every single member puts the amount of XP it takes to buy the buff, so no person is paying for it all
So lets see how this would work:
There are four friends their names are A,B,C,D (Try to keep it simple) They want to make a Fireteam, they create it and name it “Fireteam Green” A is the leader of the Fireteam, A invites B,C and D to the lobby and starts Matchmaking Slayer. They play their game and gain 1000XP each. “A” Decides for another game but before he starts he wants a buff for that match so he decides to buy “Shielding” It costs about 4000XP, great! So A,B,C and D contribute 1000 of their XP they gained in that earlier match to buy the buff. “A” remembers to turn off gaining Fireteam XP so A,B,C and D can all earn from that game which will contribute to their personal rank.
Later Fireteam Green meets up with their arch rival, Fireteam Red. Fireteam Red proposes that they have a battle to see who is better. They start up custom games and Fireteam Green turns on “Record game stats” Fireteam Green won the game and the stats are saved into their Fireteam Record to show who they have come up against.
Thankyou! For reading this, please add to this and spread the idea around!
