An idea for Halo5/ Forge (serious discussion)

Crossing fingers here.

What would be amazing for the upcoming release of Forge, is a server option.

They would essentially be private servers for us. We could be allowed to create a custom lobby, set it up via the options to be public and we wait. We wait for people who are searching for custom maps to be dropped into our lobbies. This would be amazing as it would allow us to always have testers and people playing our custom made maps.

What about maps that suck? There could be a simple option for people to search again from either the menu or the lobby they currently are in. If it’s within the current lobby, it could be the game just jumps the player searching to the next available lobby or something.

There could also be a very simple rating scale to so map creators can at least get a very basic feedback. Maybe a number system.

I just think that a long with us having friends to invite, a system like this would just add greatness as randoms can help platted our maps, give feedback, and even give us another way to make new friends.

Just an idea.

No one?

People have always asked for this since the days of reach and its never even been mentioned as a possiblity by bungie or then by 343, sadly.

Well, there is a lot of potential with Halo 5. The game is fresh and the idea is worth discussing. Maybe we can get 343’s attention this time since we are getting a overhauled forge and since this is a new game.

The worst thing 343 is going to say is, "no. "

I mean im all for it. the vast majority in halo 3 play time for me was custom games and halo reach would have been almost 100% so had we been able to find enough people. If this feature was implimented i would use it for the majority of my halo 5 play time, probably. assuming people didnt abuse the system and kick people out of rage and such, which they almost inevitably would.

The guy running the lobby, kicking people would be no different than any other custom lobby of the past.
