No more brick walls, and by brick walls I mean limitations. I love forge, I do but In H3 it was that you couldn’t easily blend items together that really made maps 1 1 1 dimensional for me. In Halo: Reach it was the number of items you had that limited. In Halo 4 you guys got how many pieces you could use ALMOST completely right (still would like to be able to use more “Doors, windows and walls” pieces) but the limitation in this forge is Real world lighting. Its a great addition, I love it. BUT it limits pieces because it breaks way to easy for me and then I just stop building the map because its ruined unless I want to go back all the way through and rethink artistic/big pieces. If we could get a Halo 4 forge except that if you had every single piece on a map and it wouldn’t break real world lighting for halo 5 I would be a happy camper. Just my thoughts though

Wanna fix dynamic lighting on pieces? Set spawn time to 1 second say place at start false and boom. No dynamic lighting.
There are limitations in forge for a reason. If you load up the map with stuff, the 360 can’t handle it. That’s why forge maps on splitscreen have terrible framerate problems and why weapons despawn so quickly (too many in one spot causes framerate issues). Don’t want to crash the game after all
It is possible that in Halo 5 the limitations will be so far out that it will feel like there aren’t any.
Here’s hoping MS isn’t dumb with the neXtBox…crazy rumors are abound. I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if they turned out to be true though…this is Microsoft after all
thats bull tellin me the xbox cant handle it.Look at farcry 3,that is a full on map editor but halo 4 cant do it no that game is beautiful but halo 4 is stuck with this crappy editor

It is all about resource management.
Yes, Far Cry 3 is graphically impressive, but it runs like hell. Constantly below 30 fps with massive screen tearing at all times. They are two entirely different games, with two entirely different ways of using the resources at hand.
If Far Cry 3 ran nearly as smooth as Halo 4 does, you would have an argument…but it doesn’t. Not even close.
