This is just an idea, but I think if it is possible 343 should make it so ONLY the player themselves can see it. 
What do you guys think of that idea?
The main reason they put it only viewable on Waypoint is so people in game can’t see it and cheat, and derank you and etc.
But, if only YOU can see it, and you don’t have to come onto the website or go onto the Waypoint app via mobile device or Xbox app, then it’s kind of the same thing, and makes things easier for players to see their CSR.
no no no, apparently they want to include ranks now. See? They’re on our side. They’re so in touch with the community! They just can’t include ranks in game because of technical and UI limitations. That’s okay, now that they know the game needs visible ranks, I’m sure they’ll include them in Halo 5 from the get-go. 343i will surely deliver!

I really hate that you can’t check it out in-game, but I do all my stats checking on halotracker anyway and they’ve already implemented csr ranks, so that cool I guess.

If they wanted to release a visible ranking system all along, then why did they release it without it to begin with, but still announcing it on Halo 4’s first day?
