An idea for 343/CA content wise:

So right now we only know about ATN after all the season pass content is released so we don’t know if there’s anymore content coming after ATN and SP content

My idea would be to remaster HW1 maps for HW2 it wouldn’t be impossible or too hard its easier than coming up with new maps anyway so I think it would be nice if CA doesn’t have anything planned after ATN to at least remaster maps.

What id like to see other than remaster’d maps would be

Game modes: FFA and multi team, Upgrades for existing units that does not have any upgrades, more balance tuining/adjusting for leaders and units.

I would be down for that; Halo Wars 2 definitely needs new maps. My only problem is that I never played HW1 multiplayer, so I would be at a disadvantage.

i dont care one bit about everything you had hidden under your spoiler warning. though i do agree with your initial statement. more maps. more gamemodes. more units/leaders.

If they’re going to remaster then they should add terrain differences because almost all the maps were flat.

Remastered Halo Wars 1 maps would work perfectly for introducing multi-team and Free-for-All since a lot of them are already set up for it.

It’s indeed more simple, that’s more fact than opinion if anything.
Being simple has it’s advantages though, being diverse and being simple have their own merits and faults.

If I was going to add anything in terms of new maps, it would be to add a central control point that would give advantages to the team or player that captured it, examples off the top of my head would be the sentinel forger, or the uncontrolled covenant cannon (both for Halo Wars 1), or something new!
All they’d have to do is keep those maps out of competitive if balance is a fear for those kinds of things.

What for the new map gimmicks? I’d be kind’ve disappointed if it was limited to one or two of those. They are possibilities of map control, something from Halo Wars 1 that didn’t make it’s way here for reasons I can only assume are for balancing purposes and the feeling of “Why add this when we’re only going to use it for casual play”.

For the record that’s the same statement I use against 343 when talking about playable elites, and it still applies here.

Honestly, 343 are in the middle of developing Halo 6 so I doubt they’d put any more effort into the game after August…

ATN is being released after August, so at least there’s that.

well CA are the main developers on this 343 just basically provide oversight to make sure everything is lore friendly and meet there vision but CA does most of the hard stuff.

So as long as Microsoft says they want more content they could do it with little to no interference with Halo 6.

I’m pretty sure it was on all maps, but don’t quote me on that.
The Sentinel Forgery was on 2v2 so I’m willing to bet they reoccurred in many maps.
Also I know that maybe people would focus more on that objective than destroying each other’s bases, but having something to work around, defend, and capitols to gain advantages is a great way to make Teamwork!
Maybe make a game mode like “Contest Deathmatch”, where all maps would receive this cool new addition, and each map would have an original and creative weapon, point, or even special base, like the Sentinel Forge! Where you could make your own sentinels.
Maybe a Flood Pure Site? Where you can make special Flood units? I don’t know but it’s a cool idea that could be expanded like it was back than, where you had these Healing circles that you could fight over, or, like previously discussed, the grounded covenant cannon!
There are many possibilities that could be implemented as such, you know?

if hw3 not coming for a while, id like another season pass of leaders, and a map pack with at least 8 more maps, master chief leader season pass 2 exclusive would be over the top epic as well, actually just thought bout it , it would have to be cortana with master chief as her hero unit

Honest question :smiley: I just like to understand where you’re coming from, I’ve seen games where fighting over something creates teamwork, like (just hear me out on this one!) TF2! The payload heals you!
It’s small but it’s integral!
TF2 might be an FPS but what, but could be changed to implement it properly here?
