So there are a ton of people arguing about how AAs are harmful, pre-loadout are bad too and this progressive enhancement too.
I do not shoot your reasons and opinions or some points, but look at all that the fan base has always been proud of Halo was like, this game was about skill and not time spent playing.
When you have a progressive enhancement in a game, you take off a large percentage of the possibility from a more mature player, with more occupations in your day-to-day win against a more carefree unemployed who can spend more time playing .
The person who sweats all the day untill get home, he want to play, have fun, get distracted, even if he/she does not have much time, even if he/she plays with some frequency, lets say, most of his/her nights, then he/she’ll build some skill and can win a game or another, IF this game was a Halo Reach or less. Now this same guy/girl will get home after a hard day, will put your Halo 4 disc at tray of your Xbox, spend time waiting in matchmaking for opponents, and will find teams completely unequal to him, as they’ll possess better equipment, more better weapons, extra skills and numerous pre-ready sets. This ‘Every day normal guy’ will be beaten, humiliated and tea-baged many times, for a reason that is not his fault, have more time to play and raise his rank, and have a hard time in the game too.
tl;dr Progressive benefits carefree with more time span players intead of skill
