An E3 Halo presence theory.

I theorize that 343 is neither going to confirm nor deny their E3 presence so that when reveal time rolls around, people won’t expect it. Surprise= Hype. Hopefully things go that way. It is awfully suspicious that nothing has been said at this point.

Hype for what exactly?

There are no spinoffs in the works, and nobody is busy with H2A, and they are not going to start rolling H5 out just yet.

Halo 4 deluxe edition featuring all of the current DLC maps along with a few new DLC maps and Spartan Ops Season 2 pass. That is honestly all I can see aside from maybe a side story project much like CEA or ODST.

I wouldn’t be all too surprised if we got some clarification on ‘Halo: Bootcamp’ and an announcement of some sort for a 2014 release of ‘Halo 5’.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they sprung H2A on us like they did with CEA (which they continuously denied until the reveal as well).

I want to say a Halo 5 teaser trailer. I’m getting my hopes up just cause I read this tweet.

I’m ready

Nobody expected them to show up at the Xbox reveal, so I wouldn’t confidently state that they won’t show up. Some clarification on Halo: Bootcamp and perhaps an expansion on what the Halo TV series will entail would be great!

Halo 4 Deluxe actually makes sense because if the Xbox1 is not backwards compatible as the rumours suggest, then H4 even though new, will not be playable on it.
It would make sense for them to have the entire new trilogy on the next get console.

That is way too soon.

Hopefully we get a halo 5 teaser. I think that we’ll at least get a few details on halo boot camp and halo spartan assault.

This. Plus H2 anniv is not out of the league of possibilities, and would be AWESOME

This.
It’s way too coincidental that 2 new Halo games have “leaked” right before E3 begins. 343 will be at E3, and we’re getting a new Halo title. The real question is what platform will the next Halo run on.

MS secured some domain names with Halo Spartan Assault in it last week, sure it doesn’t have to be a spin of game or anything but still. On another note the list of what games we can expect to se from MS on E3 is out on the interwebs, sure the list is purely 100% rumour until MS confirms it. Anyway on that list there are 2 interesting titles.

Even though they have denied a H2:A, that doesn’t mean they aren’t working on it.Not like they haven’t practiced on not telling the truth. For example, “Halo is going back to it’s roots” was so funny.

They might be there announcing everything we suspect plus more, or they may not even show up.I can’t see the future so i will have to wait till E3.

lol they are not even working on H2A

I found something that might be relevant to this thread in Halo 4 campaign.

This possible egg might reveal when the Gaming press might first have thier hands on Halo 5.

My guess is that Halo: Spartan Assault is probably the name of the TV show they’re making.

Both Halo 2A’s and Halo 5’s announcement trailers won’t appear until E3 2014. Halo CEA’s trailer didn’t come out until E3 2011, 5 months before it came out, so I expect the same thing to happen again. And Halo 4’s trailer didn’t come out until E3 2011 also, a year before it came out, and since I expect Halo 5 to come out in 2015, I’m expecting this same thing to be repeated again.

The only things we’ll see, Halo-wise, at E3 will be Halo Bootcamp, Halo Spartan Assault, and/or possibly the Halo TV Series. (Assuming Spartan Assault is its own thing, and not the official title name for one of the other two)

Or it’s the name of the new Windows 8, top-down type shooter that bridges the narrative gap between Halo 3 & 4.

Agreed
