Tanks are supposed to be an indestructible vehicle that can carry troops across enemy lines, right? Well, so far there are none of those in Halo 5, just ones with room for a drive and a gunner. So how about we make one that has storage for a few Spartans?
This would be cool since it would bring a new purpose to ranks that should’ve been there from the start. Imagine you rolling a Scorpion to the garage with a few of your fellow comrades in the back, then jumping out and gearing up for battle? That would be awesome.
I still want a Scorpion that can fly.

I want a Grizzly, I don’t care if it is it’s own vehicle or a Scorpion variant. I want a dang Grizzly! But some sort of troop Scorpion would be interesting.

Tank aren’t supposed to be indestructible. Do you remember the troop transport warthog from halo 3? That would fit your bill quite well.
this is the best idea ever!
I want an ejection seat … kinda like in Titanfall but for all Spartans on board. Roll into the fray and launch four of the UNSC’s finest skyward to rain fire from the heavens. xD

I was in a match with a hacker in reach where the Banshees had scorpion cannons instead of bombs. There were also mongoose/shade turret hybrids. I emp’d and hijacked one of the banshee/scorpions hybrids. It was surprisingly enjoyable.

I like the idea, I would love a tank (it probably wouldn’t be called a scorpion anymore) with heavy front and side armor, a heavy artillery turret with limited field of view, and a mostly open back with a warthog turret and a bench on either side for 4 spartans to sit.
It would be a hulk of a tank, carrying 6 spartans onto the battlefield, taking heavy fire from the front and providing massive cover for other teammates. It can then drop off its soldiers and position itself somewhere else to provide cover and firepower.
I might sketch something if I get in the mood.

Have you seen any videos where someone modded a Hornet from Halo 3 to have a pair of Scorpion cannons on the VTOL fans? I watched one. It was a thing of beauty.

No the only hackers I ran into in Halo 3 were the jump 90 feet in the air and auto-snipe everything variety. It does sound awesome though.

I was referring to the initial concept of the very first tank from the WWI era. The tank was initially meant to be an indestructible piece of weaponry. But of course I don’t intend it to be invincible in the game, that would be so OP.

As for sitting on the side of the tank, I don’t know why they took that out.
