An amatuer's Halo 4 tier list of everything

What’s a game without people raging on forums about how OP a gun is? Well a tier list should help out with the fanboyism, because clearly Halo 4 is similar to the cod model, why not make it more similar with a tier list? Why only do a tier list of guns? How about a tier list of everything?

Left: Best - to- Right: Worst

Primaries: Dmr, Br, Lightrifle, Suppressor, Carbine, Assault Rifle, Storm Rifle

Reasoning: The Dmr is undisputed the king in multiplayer for all ranges. It boasts one of the fastest kill times(around the same as the carbine) with the fewest shots, minimal recoil, and dead-on accuracy. The Br shines with its slowing effect and the flinch it inflicts on enemies as well as its ease of use. The Light-Rifle boasts a 4 hit head shot with zoom but requires leading the shots due to bullettime as well as painful recoil when shot at. Light rifle users may achieve adequate results against a dmr user of lower skill with expert precision though. The carbine tends to lean on the support side as it really doesn’t have any strengths or weaknesses. The Suppressor has a nice kill rate with decent accuracy, while the Ar trades in some power for range, which is useless due the the fact that most precision rifle users beat the Ar at its effective range. The Storm rifle is, the neglected ginger child of the family, it brings nothing to the table: Horrible accuracy, slow bullet speed, and low damage.

Secondaries: Boltshot, Plasma Pistol, Magnum

Honestly they are all equally viable and they all serve a purpose, but for the sake of secondaries the boltshot brings the most to the table; it can potentially help you obtain a kill in a normally hopeless situation. Every time i use the boltshot i feel like i didn’t deserve the kill i got. The Plasma Pistol is required on any Map with vehicles, and its overcharge head shot or melee combo can help you clutch a situation. The Magnum, even with its extremely fast kill time and medium range, doesn’t serve a purpose since the dmr can match its strengths and reloads at the same speed it takes to switch to the magnum.

Grenades: Plasma=Frag, Pulse

Plasma gives a weak explosion in exchange for a chance to insta-kill stick as well as proficiency against vehicles. The frags possess good range and radius, they greatly help in finishing off that invis boltshot camper behind that one wall in Haven. The Pulse… Its easier to -Yoink!- then assassinate the guy you are trying to kill with pulse than actually throwing the nade at him. You may have gotten a few kills with pulse, but try putting pulse on all your classes, you will learn how unreliable they are.

Armor Abilities: Jet Pack, -Yoink!- Vision, Active Camo, Thruster Pack, Regenerator, Hologram, Hardlight, Autosentry

Halo 4 is a team game, 343 removed true FFA so abilities designed for 1v1 are low the the tier list. But other than that every ability is equality viable in different situations.

Ordinance: Damage Boost: Incineration Cannon, Rockets, Fuel Rod, Binary, Sniper rifle, Beam Rifle, Shotgun, Scattershot, Railgun, Sword, Sticky Detonater, Spartan Laser, Saw, -Yoink!--hammer, Overshield, Speed Steroids, Needler, Concussion Rifle, Nades.

With damage boost the Ar becomes a Saw, the Dmr becomes a 3 hit kill, with warthog turret kills in half a second…the sniper become one shot. The storm rifle becomes usable, that should be Op enough. The incin cannon can one shot a mantis and has twice the aoe of rockets. Everything else is up for debate

Vehicles Priority: If you got in the enemy spawn with a buddy and you can steal any vehicle they have, this is the priority to steal in.

Mantis, Banshee, Scorpion, Gauss Hog, Wraith, Rocket Hog, Warthog, Ghost, Mongoose

Yep, this should be pretty obvious, If you ever play Big team on Exile, you are guaranteed to lose on the red team, because the blue team has a guass hog, capable of three shoting a tank. Hell, i might even put it higher than a banshee.
