Take a break from adding maps with our money and add an hour of cutscenes and like 5 mission to play as Blue team. Make 1 really good ad that isn’t totally misleading and do a one week super sale to make up for the meh launch. Anyone who bought the game before give them an exclusive founders REQ bundle with a few sweet permanents and push the Halo channel. And add more squad commands and make them usable in warzone so you can get a marine in your Warthog or other vehicle.
I love this idea. Also would like to see a firefight mode too, but seeing as 343 already fails to listen to fans and the fact that most people at this point are only focusing on multiplayer they wont do it. But if they did…wow, if they made a full game like ODST was to halo 3, I’d buy it. But they wont. 343 can’t seem to get halo’s multiplayer right and so I really wanna see a singleplayer with coop and forefoght only game.

The issue is that one million is spent for the prize pool for that stupid Halo tournament nobody watches. Most money isn’t even used as budget for the devs.
Imagine what 1 million could of done for campaign. 343 focus up.

Probably because that budget is already done. They have/had no plans for post release DLC. So if they have no plan for they don’t budget for it. If they don’t budget for it they don’t do it.

The “free forged” maps
I feel that 343 have put a lot of time and energy into redesigning everything. They seem to have a lot of artists sitting around thinking hmmm… Lets redesign stuff… the wraith and the fuel rod needs redesigning because the ones that we redesigned for halo 4 could be better, and lets face it, that’s what the community wants.
meanwhile the engine could be optimised, game types could be made, ranking systems and spawn systems could be improved, vehicles could be ADDED NOT RESKINED, game modes could be added.
what do we have, bout 300 different pretty armours, 100 weapon skins, 100 vehicle variants for about 10-15 vehicles.
343 lack vision
IDK, I like some parts. But I bought REQs to support multiplayer content. I wouldn’t want that money going towards single player development. MS can foot that bill.

I know with my company if its not in the budget, we are NOT doing it, and our budgets are set a year in advance. Sadly I would say about 75% of the DLC is already finished and ready to go, they are just sending it out to us monthly. The other 25% is going to be small crap that the community wants that they can do quickly and set it up for a later release. 343 is a business, if they dont make money, we wont be seeing anymore halo.

Just imagine how much money they could of made if the didn’t botch the marketing and launch. If stuff was complete at launch. They had to play test… People I’m sure told them. They got over 1000$ out of me just because Halo has been my life since way back. But this is the 1st time I can say I’m thoroughly disappointed. And I don’t want to be. I want Halo to be #1! I want my friends to want to play it. I want to be able to replay missions for fun… I want everything Reach has as far as features but more. File browers, Full theatre mode and so on
