I know some people have mentioned this in other post but it wouldn’t hurt to post another thing about it. Just puts out the idea a bit more and maybe 343 will see one of the post. My opinion and I believe many other people’s opinions is that we do not want a loot box type system like with the Req packs. They are very unrewarding and anything legendary you get doesn’t feel earned. It doesn’t give you any satisfaction. The reason I play other halo games today is because of the work you have to put in to get various pieces of armor. I still play halo reach today to gain credits and get armor pieces that I like and I grinded halo reach for so long to get the Master Chief helmet and it was so rewarding earning that helmet. The satisfaction of earning the piece of armor you want is something the req System can’t replicate. Also the armor pieces that you unlock by completing achievements is pretty rewarding as well like the system in Halo 3. There also needs to be less armor with more diversity because no one wants tons of armor pieces that look so similar. No one looks unique in any way. This is another situation in which the Reach system did a great job. You could customize any part of your spartan and there were not too many pieces (considering how many pieces there are in Halo 5) but they were diverse and didn’t look the same. People could have their own unique look which was great. I just feel as though many things from older games needs to come back and if they plan on keeping the req system it should only apply to war zone considering they keep it in the next game and should only be for weapons, vehicles, and emblems. Let the armor be something you have to earn. I hope someone reads this and shares the same opinion as me. Thank you, and have a good day
Halo: Reach is the bar for me. If it doesn’t build on, improve or at least take inspiration from that type of system then it’ll be failure in my opinion.
