Anyone else get tired of running out of ammo and not being able to find any ammo because there are no guns laying around the map.
Use the ammo perk?..
Stop camping and run over the guy you just killed for more ammo.
Yes definitely.
I try to counter it by remembering to pick up the first BR/DMR I see on the ground (whichever I’m not currently uwsing obviously).
But, sucks when you forget and you hit a kill spree and see you’ve got 3 bullets left and there’s nothing anywhere on the floor.

that’s not really a solution, the ammo perk is where the standard should be, and even then we still need weapons on the map. i literally don’t know how many times i’ve had to pull some suicidal melee stunt because im out of ammo and trying to get a melee kill before dying seems preferable then straight up committing suicide
That’s when you use your plasma pistol, and then you die.

for an exp. on ragnarok you are sitting on the mid hill holding down not letting them control it. dont see how thats camping but ok.

and when you run out of that ammo?

…Yeah, area control is, surprisingly, another word for camping. What you just described is camping: You’re sitting in one area, denying access to that area to the other team, for extended periods of time. In this case, you’re also base camping, since the hill has a near-full view of their base.

Make do, I tend to keep an eye on my ammo count and pick up ammo or other guns after killing players, rarely happens to me and I don’t even use the ammo perk.

call it what you want, but playing rag any other way is not optimal

no its not. camping would be if someone was sitting at shotgun spawn for the entire game trying to pad there k/d

not to sound like an -Yoink-, but i kill alot of people and don’t really die much, not everyone i kill is close enough to me to safely pick up their ammo due to the dmrs sniper like capabilities.
edit: thinking about it now, the lack of ammo is almost an indirect punishment for getting alot of kills wihtout dying

I think it’s the opposite issue…
It tends to happen to me more when I’m running through the loop in Haven or Adrift, or working my way from one end to the other end in Solace.
It’s more a player-issue than a game issue. No excuse for forgetting to pick up dropped weapons. And it’s not like it happens very often. But every once in a while I hit a spree or a frenzy and see I’m left with my pistol and my fists.

Camping is staying in one area for a period of time without any serious movement away from that location. It doesn’t matter if it’s a spawn; CoD has no weapon/vehicle spawns, yet it has plenty of campers. I’ll admit, on Ragnarok I do that (at least half the time on that map, you’re forced to unless you want to make your team lose), and I’m not in denial of the fact that it is camping. I prefer gameplay where I can constantly be on the move (NOT necessarily in combat, but be moving, either towards combat, or running if the odds are too large; and I don’t mean “ducking behind the hill”, but literally running halfway across the map to lose people chasing me down), but on large, mostly open, maps, it just isn’t feasible.
