I would love if Halo Infinite had ammo packets on the map like halo 2. I’d also love to see colorful maps that have dynamic, interactive elements like opening the gate on Last Resort. I’m sure there’s a lot that could be done, like maybe have a bridge that can be destroyed or something!
I like the extra ammo idea but I personally don’t like interactive maps or moving maps in general. I like static maps, call me boring lol
I love the idea of interactive maps! In them, there are always multiple objectives. Let’s take your bridge idea. Maybe there are shade turrets on the map, that are placed specially to destroy the bridge, so you ether need to destroy them or get to them. If they are destroyed, you need to get Scorpions, Wraiths, Ghosts and Warthogs over the bridge. If the bridge is destroyed, it becomes inspired by a map from CE. (I can’t remember the name…) and teleporters open on the back of both bases, that lead to the other bases. Maybe you could even build the turunts and bridge back up and the teleporters close again. I think that would be great!
Ammo packs I’d be ok with. I remember them in Halo 2. They were always on the big maps generally and that’s how it should be.
I definitely want interactive environments on multiplayer maps but nothing too crazy, stuff like what Halo 2A did. Shooting down chunks of ice for example, making a bridge drop and so on. Stuff that can happen the one time. If it is more then once, again it needs to be like Halo 2A where it doesn’t change the actual map really. Making the water flow down briefly and obscures vision. Activating a giant shield briefly for cover and so on. I don’t want Halo turning into battlefield. Just settle interactions. I hope they come back. By far my favorite part of Halo 2A was these…it’s just so satisfying dropping chunks of ice onto people lol
The best part of these types of interactions is if the pro community don’t want them on, they could easily disable them for there HCS/MLG playlist. Everybody wins
