Everyone has experienced the blunder of burning through big reqs without using them. (Today I lost a phaeton without one single kill… ahhhhhh)
But the other side of this argument would help too. That is, There has been many times I blow through the ammo of whatever gun I used REQs for and that’s it. It’s done. Some guns I specifically don’t use because of this. I like the needler, hailstorm, lost talon. but those reqs aren’t worth 2 kills and boom out of ammo.
I’m suggesting that you should be able to hit a REQ station and refill your ammo no matter what weapons you have loadout or not or if you bought it or stole it. (Had a guy charge me with a Legendary Binary rifle with 1 shot left in it!, would’ve loved to load up some ammo in that!
To be honest, I think this is a terrible idea. Does having a team camp in an armory or other location with unlimited rocket and shotgun ammo sound like fun? Personally, I’m going with a hard no.
The whole point of REQ weapons is to use them wisely. You’ve got to be strategic with what you select, and how you use it from there.

You’re seriously suggesting that I can spawn a Nornfang, sit at a base indefinitely, and refill my ammo whenever I’m dry in under 5 seconds by running to the REQ station?
You can’t be serious.
Also, a hailstorm isn’t even close to out of ammo after 2 kills. It’s at least 5-6 kills if you are efficient with the needles and don’t empty an entire clip into someone…
I haven’t thought about Warzone from any strategic standpoint or in any competitive way. I am sure that would throw a giant mess in things. I’m looking at it from a commedations / fun point of view. If I want to play competitive then I’m not doing Warzone but I see your point.

Unfortunately, a lot of people don’t start up any form of matchmaking games just to goof around. I know it’s not the same, but custom games can satisfy a lot of this desire, especially if you mess around with game settings and make or find forged maps to have all sorts of fun.
Hahahaha good one
… no. Think about what you said, apply it to a game and then think again. Let’s even put the money 343 loses on REQs aside and just have a theoretical game where that system was the norm. Mhmh… hn… yeahh… alright.
Yeah. We better don’t.
You can’t give power weapons unlimited ammo like that it will make warzones bonkers.
I like the way it is set up. You can refill by using another card.
Maybe a better option would be to add all the crazy weapons to Custom Games. Someone suggested that, but you can’t put the Answer, voids tear, and the echidna in custom games. Do you guys support this idea better?
