I think HW2 has an AMD issue. All big streamers are suffering from crashes when they stream.
LiamWhite, Nakamura, Yodesla all seem to have issues when they stream HW2. Streams crash or freeze.
They only seem to have it when they stream HW2 and dont experience any crashes or freezes playing other games.
They all seem to have AMD parts instead of Intel/Nvidia
I am one of the leads for HW2 cups organized by EuropaHalo and our casters/streamers struggle with the same issues and have AMD parts.
Yesterday we had to broadcast the last part of the tournament on an xbox cause pcs kept crashing.
Not only does our production quality drop this way but we also cant put a delay on so we risk people streamsniping by watching the stream.
It could mean the end of all HW2 tournaments since EuropaHalo is the only tournament organizer running HW2 events and Yodesla is the only
other person running tournaments.
I know support for HW2 is on hold till after mcc but is their a chance we could have a look at this? Its kinda gamebreaking for tournament
organizers and streamers. I kinda hope we could get a hotfix for this
Yoda’s Stream settings are: x
264 medium
7500 kbps
1080 stream rez. ultra wide 60 fps
Game settings are maxed at 1440p game rez, WITH AA all options on. When casting, settings are same except game is in 4k

92 freezes/ crashes on ladder this season. Not even counting casted games

That’s an Nvidia setting - what should be used with AMD?
