I’m making this to see if other people with AMD GPUs have the same issue, my build is:
CPU: Ryzen 3700x
GPU: 6800 XT
RAM: 32GB @3200Mhz
Latest Win10 and Driver versions, and installed on a SATA SSD
Game keeps freezing with sounds/music still going, and if i leave it long enough (5-10 mins) it gives me a driver timeout
5600x and 6600xt lots of freezing. Sometimes can gett a game or two in. No issues with other games.
Ran ddu, uninstalled, updated drives… Tried xmp. Nothing. Game is poorly optimized and very buggy. Hope this build is not representative of final product. Has a long way to go.
Same thing. Sounds keep going. Get driver timeout but not after 10 mins. After a couple… Just got rid of my 1650super so can’t compare. Had no issues with cyberpunk, gears5, MCC, valorant , or league so far.
ryzen 3800x , radeon 5700, 16gb @3200mhz , 1 crash. everything else is fine.

I can get in MAYBE half a game before I keep getting “Driver Timeout” errors and the whole thing crashes. No other game gives me this issue at all.
I think there was a notice to update your game drivers before trying to play the beta. Might be worth a try!

Nope that doesn’t work, well actually it somewhat does, but not permanently. after about 3 hours of playing the crashes will start up again
also this issue isn’t exclusive to the 6000 series, my RX-570 does the same thing

It’s definitely an issue with the AMD drivers, the menus actually look different on the Nvidia cards, none of those black/blue artifacts on the bottom of the menus/loading screens. Sadly, 343i has yet to mention any of these issues at all, tried my hardest on twitter and halo support to get a response from them, but still. Nothing.
