What shipping speed did you guys choose? I chose one day but im kind of skeptical. What if i dont get it on November 6th? Do you guys know if they have a shipping speed for on day release delivery? Also whats your status on your copy of halo 4 from amazon? Thanks!

I have two-day shipping and the delivery estimate is the 6th. Will probably be dispatched on Monday.

Mine has not been shipped yet and I use Prime. I was guaranteed by three different customer service reps that it would be at my door on release day, guaranteed!
If you have Amazon Prime delivery you will get it on release day. If you have release date delivery and it does not show up on the specified day, then contact them to complain. They will credit your order for the mistake.
If you chose one day it will be dispatched on the 5th.
5th + 1 day = 6th = release day
Not rocket science.

Anyways, I’ve heard from multiple people and a service rep that I talked to earlier today that the “Estimated Delivery Date” is accurate, so if it says “November 6th”, you’ll get it the release day.
From what I understand, the 2-day shipping is Amazon’s version of Release-day shipping, and they recently updated the options to include a 1-day shipping. I don’t really understand the difference, but if you have 2-day, you should be fine.

I think they added the 1-day option for anyone that preorders on the 5th, so that they’d still be able to get the game on release day.
Jim, people act like Amazon is some shady site.
This is how Amazon works for big release games ala Gears, Halo, Cod etc…
They will change your status sometime Sunday or Monday to getting ready to ship. Then it will stay that way all day Monday. DON"T F****** PANIC! Sometime Monday night or early Tuesday you will get an email stating that the game shipped. You will be confused. Then the game will show up on Tuesday just like it is supposed to. Rarely it will arrive on Wednesday. In which case a simple email to Amazon will usually net you a refund of $5 or so. Amazon has never missed release date shipping for me. No need to panic or make 1k threads worrying. It’s fine.
Usually they list release date shipping but for some reason their 2 day shipping is release date for this.
Amazon orders ship the day before. You will get it on November 6th unless there is a problems with the postal service or something. I’ve ordered many games from Amazon and have never not gotten a game on release day.

That’s what I thought too, and I posted that in a thread earlier today.
Then in the forums on Amazon under the Limited Edition game, someone said “Up until 3 days from release day, 2-day shipping is available. After that 3 days comes, 1-day shipping is the only method of release day shipping”.
I figure they don’t know what they’re talking about.
mine is guaranteed pre order day one delivery. I live in Seattle where Amazon.com is so yeah everything I have ever ordered arrives on time. Already AC III and Medal of Honor Warfighter arrived on time this year for me.
I spoke to some one at amazon, and mine(so I guess yours as well) will be dispatched on the 5th
I just wish they didn’t change the price from 99 cents. That was the best.

I was told the very same thing, they ship at a first come first serve basis. Even though I ordered it weeks ago. I was hoping it was just a glitch.
