The day that Halo Infinite was revealed Amazon actually had it on their website, but only for a couple hours. It said that it would be released on December, 31. Do you guys think Amazon is right or is it still a work in progress and they still have to finalize a date?
That’s called a “placeholder” and I’m pretty sure there’s no date yet because they haven’t even announced a release year let alone month.
Amazons palmost always puts 12/31 as the release date of games that don’t have an official date yet I believe. I wouldn’t get too excited yet

This has happened many times before with different games. I agree with the placeholder.

Closing this off to save confusion / misinformation. Until such time as 343 announces a release date, anything you see listed on a retailer’s site is simply a placeholder they have set up in order to facilitate pre-orders
