I am stunned.
If you care to notice the subtle differences in armor that are slightly masked by the changes in color and skins, you will see what i have, the underlying amount of customization in H4
Things i have noticed. EVERYTHING (besides back of the hand armor) That is not the black armor under the colored armor is customizable
If you scroll through the images you will notice that armor changes in these places
The List of Customization:
Helmet
Visor
Shoulder
Bicep (maybe not, but it looks like it changes)
Forearm
Chest
Thigh
Knees
Calf
Boots
Edit: Weapon and armor skins. (there are obviously more than just the preorder bonuses)
Not to mention options from reach (not confirmed)
Expect:
Armor effects
Firefight voice (maybe now Spartan ops Voice?)
Utilities

Thats what I’m excited about, if you remember the Reach Beta. when we saw how you could but different stuff on helmets people that THAT was awesome…
but then reach’s actual customization comes along and blows us away
All of the customizations are pretty awesome, yeah. There will be even more variety and options now.
Actually, at a closer look… the back of the hands DO change
I’m not a fan of the skins, but everthing else I’m excited for.

Can’t even imagine what Halo 5 will be…
This all looks so great. Customizable boots, multiple leg pieces, multiple arm pieces, and body pattern! And since one armor picture has green “eyes” (CIO visor), and one has blue, I’m assuming there are more unlockable visor colors! -Yoink!-. November can’t come soon enough.
And yet no Elites.
Anyway, I wouldn’t expect to see Utilities, or Wrist Attachments on top of the base armour. Or Helmet attachments either. It looks like they are scrapping them in favour of expanding on Halo 3’s “Armour Set” customization scheme. Which is nice.

yeah, this seems too hard to top… The only thing they could really do is just have about 50 for each category

The new evil isn’t Elites. That’s like if they removed Spartans and then said Hey, maybe the Flood is playable!
the customization looks almost limitless, although I hope there is better looking armor out there.

Hhahah thats an interesting take on these… and yeah some of them do, but hopeful they will have a bunch of other cooler ones to unlock

yeah true.
elites were cool and everything but i think they mostly took them out due to it not fitting into the multiplayer cannon (spartans training on holodeck)
