I am new to the Halo Universe and I love REACH, but now that I am here it looks like a lot of playrs are starting to get worn out or tired of Halo Reach. Am I too late to get very involved with Reach? Have I missed the party so to speak?

to be honest the online community party has died down a little bit but there are still alot of people active, and of course people still play Reach so it’s still good to join! welcome to Halo
ps: the community and amount of players will increase a hundred fold once halo 4 comes out

Is that like selective memory and selective hearing???
I, personally am getting into Halo for the long Haul. I’m loading my Xbox up Halo stuff and I plan to play the game by myself until long after Halo is forgotten. But I would like to find people to play the games and discuss the story. I am a sci fi literature nut and Halo’s story is what got me hooked. I only recently got a console and Halo was the primary reason for that. Until now I have been PC gamer only and mostly older space games like Pax Imperia and MOO,(which, by the way I think Halo resembles), and more recently Sins of a Solar Empire.
To me, Halos setting is open ended. Like Star Trek, Halo can follow any one, anywhere, at any time, forever. Stories could be made up about any part of the universe following the UNSC and its Spartans, just like the Federation in Star Trek.
I would like to share my interests with others, through gaming, but I worry I might be showing up just as everyone else is going home.
No, don’t worry. There’s still plenty of people who still play Reach. Anywhere from 40-100k at one time.

Those people seem to be the majority, hence why everything is getting title updated and heavy variants finally showing up
There are actually more people playing Reach now than were playing it months ago.
And with all the new maps and gametypes coming out, now is a good a time as any to start playing.

And even then i get on late…
