Sorry but it’s getting silly now i feel like I’m the only person who actually just uses the boltshot as a standard pistol… you CAN get headshots with it!! like a magnum!! (not charged!)
it doesn’t really bother me too much but you’re missing out if you only ever charge it… it’s like a magnum with a ridiculous fire rate if you just tap RT and don’t HOLT RT!

95% of my Boltshot kills (not that I have many) are from using it as a pistol & getting head shots…
I can never time it right to use the charge shot, these days tho I carry a magnum.
I have just barely learned this nice fact. I will admit all I have been trying is the one shot kill. However, I recently made a conscious decision to try for some headshots only and it actually works pretty well for that. It actually is a very satisfying feeling when I kill someone with it by headshot rather than charge shot.
It’s too bad Waypoint stats doesn’t show weapon headshot stats, just weapons kills overall. I would like to see how that number compares to others.
I rarely use the Boltshot but when i do i normally use it as a regular pistol.
Of the kills i have atleast 70% were used a pistol.
Been recently getting headshots off of it recently. With ridiculous rof, you clean up or prep someone’s shields without them even knowing. Takes 6 shots for a beat down to kill.
