Am I the only one?

First off, greetings!
So I don’t know what is going on but I keep getting kicked out of games. I’ll be in the middle of a match and then somehow I’ll be returned to the main menu. Sometimes it’ll say my fireteam party has left but then other times I’ll just be sitting on a glitched screen that won’t allow me to do anything but turn off the game and restart it. Am I the only one that this is happening to? It’s been happening the past week now and it’s very frustrating to say the least. Happened the last 3 out of 5 games I was trying to play.

I do have Comcast so that could be it. My roommate has been messing with the router lately too.

This has been happening to me over and over; exactly as you describe it (fireteam has left, glitched screen, etc.). It happened so much that I finally went back to play Master Chief Collection.

So far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with our internet connection, cable company, etc. – MCC plays fine (surprisingly); I even went and checked the backwards-compatible Halo: Reach, and that played with no connection problems at all. It’s definitely something specific to Halo 5 and its servers.

Can anyone from 343i help out here?

Haven’t been getting those issues, have Xfinity which is basically Comcast. Might be your connection like grassmonkey said.

Glad to hear I’m not the only one! I just did a hard restart of my console, we’ll see if maybe that helps.

Havent had this issue ever since ive changed my search parameters from balanced to expanded.
Make sure your NAT is open as well

Have you tried Port Forwarding in your router’s settings?

Thanks guys. Just so others are aware, I have played other video games without any kind of connection issue. It only happens when I play Halo 5. Sometimes I’m not even in a game and I’m just looking at my REQ packs and I’ll get a message saying my fireteam/party has left.

I got kicked out the other day. been a long time sense that has happened. But the laggy of games Is another story.

I have comcast too, but know Its not on my side.

This happened to me and H5 then banned me for 2hrs. Literally got booted from Infection for no reason and then after winning a match of SWAT, my post-game screen had no stats, froze, and I had to restart the game…after opening H5 back up, it said I was banned for 2hrs for being idle. I posted about this earlier and then someone locked my thread.

There are also DNFs listed in my game history from this past week that NEVER happened. This game is busted beyond belief.
