I loved the conference overall (Backwards Compatibility :D), but seriously after they showed Halo 5 I thought “That was it?” Warzones was cool, but it was a trailer. I expected some gameplay and the campaign looked like it was trying to copy CoD’s setpieces again (calling it as I see it, feel free to disagree). Not really a lot of combat or anything new honestly. For MS’ big IP I was really underwhelmed by Halo 5’s appearance.
I know there will be people who get to play on the showfloor, but for anyone who isn’t there I at least felt like it was a letdown.
Yeah that was kinda horrible for Halo. And I disagree with the campaign looking like cod. Just because things were exploding doesn’t make it call of duty.
It nought there would be a lot more. It was still cool to see the game in action. It was cool hearing the line about chief already being aboard the guardian
sigh I loved what I saw, however I am not liking what I am seeing, and that is people bashing 343 and h5 without reason. We have not gotten to play the finished game, we have no idea what it will truly be like in the campaign, and all I see is complaints and within the oceanic abyss of complaints I see some good constructive feedback and people actually liking it. I hope the hate dies down soon.

> We’ll see more I’m sure, I wonder what that one weapon was during the campaign bit, but the Warzone news got me personally happy.
Don’t get me wrong warzones looks cool, but it was a trailer. Show us some gameplay for those watching from home.

> If that was all we got to see, sure. But I doubt that is all going to be shown seeing as it was the briefing on the first day of E3.
This, as said there’s also a panel for 343 this Wednesday.
While on one hand I’d like to see a lot more, having a bit of mystery for me isn’t so bad as it helps keep my excitement up (and I hate trailers/etc that reveal way too much.)
Sold when Buck spoke up about “everyone is going to hate us for this.”
this was to drum up intrest hence explosions everywhere. im more interested in that battlefieldish warzone thing. going to toss in my conspiracy theory and say them hunters were playable.

I am not bashing the game, I am bashing their presentation. I don’t like that you loved everything and can’t find anything wrong with the game, but surprise we have different opinions.
I wish they showcased more relevant things. It felt like a forced gameplay trot without showcasing cool things like AI squad support. The enemies looked like typical grunts with nothing new and there was a codesque setpiece.

> Did everyone just magically forget about Halo 2’s 2003 demo and Halo Reach’s 2010 E3 demo? Both super linear and short.
But Reach showcased armor abilites and Halo 2 showcased new weapons and vehicle hijacking. Halo 5 showed what we already knew and then showed a trailer for warzones.
