Fortnite at least works as a live service game and has replay value though. If you compare the two, one has a far less intrusive microtransactions system, and has more content. I don’t like Fortnite and even that game is better. That’s the bar currently. Very low.
the length of the season doesn’t concern me at all, bc these battlepass season are only there for useless cosmetics (and people are still losing their minds over them rolleyes)
what concerns me, is the lacking content and features not being present day 1, which were there at launch in previous installments (even in 343 halos). they should never get a pass for that.
and many of these things are not mentioned anywhere, or only have a targeted release window, which means nothing.

I’m just disappointed, like keen for the Cores, Maps & Modes but I’ll find myself playing for a bit then playing different games
This game is fun to play but the Management & handling is what I find is what’s killing it along with other things
i don’t get it. are you guys really just playing only infinite? with the way you’re wording it by how it will probably hold you over.
i have ditched infinite back in 2021. it’s a garbage halo game to me and i will most likely never play it. halo mcc holds all the greatest halo titles minus halo 4, which coincidentally was developed by 343 also. everything 343 has developed has left a bad taste in my mouth.
but surely you must be playing other games too. no way you’d just play infinite, especially if you already are bored. 3 new gamemodes won’t keep you entertained for 6 full months, lol
you know what can though? all the funny wacky custom games you can find in halo mcc. at least, that’s been hella fun to me
Getting bored of season 1 is already a bad sign. You shouldn’t be getting bored.
I am a little annoyed about how long it will be before next season because I will likely reach max soon and then after I reach max that’s it. I will not getting anything else from the game for rewards or unlockables.
The lack of maps, game modes, weapons, and general content in MP is a bummer.

Saying I was bored was a semi-oversight after a frustrating session. The game is still decently fun if you don’t play it like a job.
Other games are offering more for my time atm “cough"eldenring"cough” to care about infinite, i just lost interest. I tried it this morning after a while, and i see they still haven’t fixed the desync, and i immediately put it down. This game might be good in a year, or two… but right now im very much tired of it, and im tired of false promises. They just dont have the manpower to support a live service, they shouldn’t have made it one. This is disappointing.

I wouldn’t say you’re the only one. There’s loads of people who’ve already left who don’t really care about the update. Can’t be mad if you don’t care.
Look, you’re talking six month for two maps and maybe getting some of Halo 5s launch features a year after they came out. Things like Co-op and mission select or XP progression are not seen as complicated features; so it speaks poorly of the company that they couldn’t get this out the door despite a six year gap from Halo 5. We should have had two Halo games in that time; not half a game.
They still haven’t made any suggestion about where Campaign DLC is at. Compare that to CoD or Destiny and it’s just not in the same league.
People are going to show up for the update and leave.
I wish there’d be another chance to get the samurai armor. I was too late coming in on week 6. .
I feel like I’m in a similar boat. If a six month season 2 means we get closer to the internal infrastructure of 343 being improved then I’m fine with waiting. It’s not like the game is going anywhere.
Everyone is mad about the 6-month season
I vastly prefer 6 month seasons, it gives them more time to work on real content instead of having people constantly making stupid temporary cutscenes and filling out a 100 tier season pass and lets them move over and get some work done on the cut campaign content between seasons once they knock out that seasons pass “content”. Plus with 6 month seasons i am not forced to play only halo to keep up, it allows me to play other games without falling behind. I quit many games entirely with the 3 month season and nonstop event bs because if you miss any of it you can never get that stuff ever again and real content is never added because they are too busy making constant temporary junk.
As for events i wish they didn’t spend a single second making any of that crap until they at least get into the swing of things, the last thing we need is more temporary junk when our core content is so severely limited or just not do limited time events at all except for real life holidays.
Although at first I was dissapointed, but it’s on the right track in being honest and open about that even 343 not happy with it.
Season 2 is a step in the right direction, there are still open flights etc in Autumn etc, so not like it’s a repeat of season 1.
This game will get more content. I don’t doubt that, the question is if people will come back.
I’d probably be upset about it if I hadn’t expected it for the past couple months… It pays to have conservative expectations for this game.

This just feels ignorant I personally enjoy the game still and NOONE wants the devs to run them selves into the ground but that doesnt mean people cant complain I dont need new content every month but i can understand why people are burnt out of the same 3 maps if they only play 4v4 or only play btb and the same like 3 modes its ok to admit that the game is content light and season two definitely has its sights to try and fix that and i can also totally understand why you would be frustrated with everyone constantly complaining but to act like we all want the devs to slave away gain back problems and get devorces just so they can serve us is a bit disingenuous/exaggeratory dont you think
