There is a day & night version of every map?
Only saying this because I literally haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere else.

where do you get these facts from, I haven’t seenany sight of this during any of the vids so far
Do you have a source?
There isnt. He’s just seeing different angles of the sky.
It has been mentioned before. Longbow mainly, and somewhat on haven. Not entirely sure on adrift. I doubt that it is actually that…
Probably just the angle in the shots and tvs. I remember haven being orange and then blue.
I haven’t seen this at all. Maybe you’re mistaken. If not please show us your source.
That would be kinda cool…
I’m pretty sure it’s just the angle of the skybox.
I’ve seen it as well.

You people know how to Google right?
A completely sarcastic and rhetorical question.
For Haven I’ve seen 3 different times of day.
I noticed it actually. Heres proof:
Original format: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAJaHsHO6mQ&feature=relmfu
New (Sunset themed?) format: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXT69AXXmKg
I knew I wasn’t seeing things.
Very nice indeed. Seeing those maps in day and night settings the differences are clear to anyone.
Question is: Do we enter the map at different times (day game 1 and night game 2) or does the cycle shift through out play (single game changing)?

Sorry to crap on your parade, but that’s just the TV’s tint being changed.
Also, the skybox for Longbow is extremely… diverse. It’s different colors in different areas. In other words: it’s not a day/night thing.

I disagree but as far as right now no one knows.
This would be awesome if you could change this for each individual person so that they could play in an environment that felt most comfortable to that particular player.
I really hope this is true. If anyone wants a better look, I took screenshots of the same area of Haven on seemingly different times of day:
Those looke pretty different to me. Much more than just a different TV setting would look like. I really hope this is true. It would add SO much variability to maps.
I have seen no evidence of this from any of the footage they have showed us. And this is EXACTLY the kind of stuff I look for and try to notice.
Please, elaborate and provide evidence of this claim

Check my post right above yours for evidence. I’m not sure if these daylight settings are really variant in the game, but the screenshots I provided seem to look that way.

Actually, they look exactly like what a different TV would do to the image. The HUD is warmer in the second picture like everything else – an indication that the entire image is warmer, as a TV might do. It’s not even necessarily the TV. Could be the device that captured that image, intensifying and saturating the colours.
I’m skeptical that there’s a time of day option. It wouldn’t add much to the overall experience, and it’d be a lot of work to implement. It wouldn’t be a practical addition to the game. Never say never, of course, and I’d personally like it. But every case I’ve seen for it is inconclusive. And you’d think that 343 would’ve told us about this by now.
