i think every change about halo so far is good.
- i love the new look of the spartans, elites, weapons, maps
- you can start with the weapons and ability’s you want.
- the infinty idea is pretty cool
- those graphics look amazing
i think halo 4 is going to be a great game and i really lik how 343 is evolving halo how we have never seen it before.
-Yoinks!- who call themselves ‘true fans’ and hate all the changes and want classic halo just don’t realise it’s not their game. it’s 343’s now and you should accept that.
also: there will probably be gamemodes that will make the competitive players happy since mlg is working thogether with 343i
there seems to be a lot of hate.
do you like everything that has been showed so far or do you not?
I’m impressed that 343i appear to have taken Uncharted 3’s console graphics crown. Fanboys will rage.
No, I don’t like what has been shown so far. Just give me my classic playlists with its own ranking system and I’ll be happy. And don’t half–Yoink- it like Bungie did.
I’m sure 343 will have a playlist that will basically be vanilla, no AAs, no weapon attatchments or whatever and armor won’t affect gameplay, that way, all of us true blues will be happy, I for one think the changes and a realistic side to the spartans and add for millions of possibilities to be toyed with
Originally, I was heartbroken by the leak, but when I read more into and put it all together, you are actually “training” a spartan for war, very cool concept, but again, this is just my opinion
> what do you mean?
If you’re talking to GreenDragon, he’s from the conservative portion of the fanbase. Good luck trying to reason with him.
> what do you mean?
Make a so-called “classic” playlist but it still plays like the gimmicky game. But now it shouldn’t be too hard, considering that movement speed and jump height are fine again (maybe) and bloom is gone.

Actually, it appears you’re a radical one who can’t be reasoned with. I’m just giving my opinion because he asked. It isn’t hard to divide the playlists between classic and “new.”
So far, you are the one that’s unreasonable.

no i actually was talking to you, sorry for not quoting…
most of the time ‘asking something like that’ to a conservative player doesnt work. however greendragon is not that kind of rude guy
Well, Microsoft is obviously copying Call of Duty with Halo 4. There is no doubt about that. Pretty soon Halo will get yearly updated releases - the same as CoD.
Microsoft is not a company that really ‘creates’ anything. They buy the rights to things. This is the case with Microsoft buying Bungie(and the Halo name.)
Microsoft’s first party studios haven’t created anything even remotely innovative this entire generation.
Halo - was an Xbox 1 franchise
Fable - was an Xbox 1 franchise
Forza - was and Xbox 1 franchise
Gears of War - Epic Games made it *not Microsoft
Kinect Sports - a direct copy of Wii Sports
I am starting to see the reason as to why Bungie left Microsoft. Bungie probably wanted to make a new game but Microsoft would never green light it. Just Halo - Halo - and more Halo - until the franchise is run into the ground.
The best thing for Halo would be for part 4 to completely flop and the IP to be bought back by Bungie.
I would rather have a good Halo game that is on both PS3 and Xbox, instead of a crappy one that is exclusive to Xbox.

Radical =/= conservatives, just in case you were using the two interchangeably.
Why do you have to dislike the changes? Even if they’re not to your personal taste, why not appreciate that others will enjoy them? There’s a difference between asking for a Classic section (which I’m under the impression has already been confirmed) and hating on the changes.

I know the differences between a radical and conservative. I am merely drawing the distinction. And yes, I will hate on the changes becuse it is my opinion that they are bad. The OP asked if we “like the changes are not?” And I said no. It appears someone does not like the idea of free-speech unless they are of the same mind as his (or her) own.
And until I see that they follow through on these “classic” playlists, I’ll remain skeptical.
-I like how you can choose your starting weapon, as long as we aren’t spawning with Shotguns ever.
-Having instant spawn without having to mod a gametype to get it is cool, especially for -Octagon, as long as it is an option.
-No Armor lock or Dual Wielding.
-They already confirmed a “classic” style of play. However barebones that is has yet to be determined.
Everything else I either hate or am indifferent on.
You are not alone. However until more information is released on the subject, i shall not be answering my opinion. However; that does not mean some items go without concern.
I am slightly concerned that the elites have been left out of competitive mathcmaking. This seems a little odd to me. As the reason is that it does not fit with canon, i feel that that is just an excuse to buy them some lee-way.
Balance witht he new items is another issue that needs adressing, but until such time as more information is realeased i shall refrian from going in to deep into that.
I like some of the changes, but others have me slightly worried.
I like the join in progress finally i can kill my friends and defeat them.
It sounds good, but need to see how it works out

Are you aware of what a straw man is? Basically, its a logical fallacy in which you modify your opponent’s argument such that it’s easier to attack. I, for instance, have never said you aren’t allowed to say what you want, yet you claim I don’t understand freedom of speech.
Also, while I’d like to clarify I’m not calling you stupid, you don’t seem to have quite grasped my point. I said that, regardless of whether you personally would utilise the changes, couldn’t you appreciate they were positive additions that others might enjoy? You seem to have misunderstood this to the point you’re claiming I can’t handle differing opinions. I’m not saying you have to want to use them yourself, but that can’t you realise they’re good additions nonetheless, as others do want to use them?

It’s been confirmed you won’t be able to spawn yourself with power weapons.
> No, I don’t like what has been shown so far. Just give me my classic playlists with its own ranking system and I’ll be happy. And don’t half–Yoink!- it like Bungie did.
That was the thing - Bungie insisted that these changes were better and tried forcing them on players in Reach. At least 343 have been smart about it and have said that fans of classic Halo will still get the option to play classic style.

And I’ve seen you use ad hominems and straw-mans, but really, oh well.
I am viewing this from my perspective alone. Much like you radicals don’t give a damn for how we conservatives feel about the game, why should I care what you have to say? I dislike the changes and I want my own playlist where I can enjoy Halo without all of the gimmicks from other games thrown in.
I don’t see them as a positive, and I believe that they are destroying Halo. So, that is why I ask for many Classic Playlists.
Everytime someone has asked for classic playlists because they dislike the changes, you’ve bashed them for not following the “almighty 343i.” You already got what you want. Halo has been radical changed. So the people who like me should at least get something that we want. At least 4 playlists with the Halo formula people like me love left to be itself.
You want me to see it from other other side’s perspective? Then start seeing it from my perspective.
