I keep coming back here and hope to find some useful information or nice discussions, but all I see is hate about everything…
I’ve played all Halo games pretty much as soon as they were released, and this one is not better nor worse than the others. It’s different, but if you want the same, go back to Halo 3…
I’ve got to say that the loadouts are a nice addition, but they change the gameplay in a way I’m not really fond of, especially the plasma pistol and boltshot as a spawning weapon, but besides that IMO everything is fine.
Aside from Shotgun Pistols off spawn and it being too easy to aim, I generally enjoy the gameplay. Microsoft’s trueskill system is crap though.

Me and my buddy are having a blast playing Halo ! Do people hate it cause the change makes them play in a way they arnt comfortable with or do they hate it cause people are better then them because the change allows others to be just as good if better??? I for one think change is great, I liked what they did with Reach and could still enjoy the MM of Halo3. Halo 2 was when I really got into Halo MM and IMO they haven’t made a bad online experience since then, just kept it fresh which is a good thing.
Love the game and i ignore all comments made by players who think taht just because they dont like others cant enjoy it. I have a few games that i play that were not just bad games but were canceled after being released. I dont need help in deciding what games i like and ones i dont. Every gamer is able to decide that for them selves

Yes, you are the only one. These guys are just lying to themselves. And you.
I can see why they made the weapon spawn changes they did. It cuts back on the number of gametypes they would have to include and it lets people play the way they want. Otherwise it might splinter the population and that seems to be their focus.
I’m looking forward to the CSR, even if it won’t be in-game right away. The public outcry will probably get it in-game one way or another eventually so I’ll just keep on doing what I’m doing, which is enjoying the hell out of the game.
I think people are all upset because they feel like Halo should never change (which is exactly the cause for the derision towards CoD.)
343 said from the beginning that it is a new trilogy, by a new developer, a new Halo.
People just have a hard time accepting change.

That is what almost all games forums are like. It’s sad. 
And I like Halo 4 also I think it is pretty fun.

The Boltshot is a re skinned Shotgun with head shot capability. I don’t complain about the Boltshot, I use it, and I think it’s grossly overpowered, It’s close to Power weapon status, as is the DMR.

I enjoy this game as much as other Halo’s. Matchmaking or Forging really limited maps for limited gamemodes and play them with my friends… But this forum is not good place to be if you like Halo, too much hate/complaining = Forums are like Cancer
I enjoy the game a lot, but latelly I’m feeling a little disapointed because it seems 343 isn’t fixing a lot of things they should, and the playlist rotation is geting kinda lame.
Yesterday I got to play with a team of modders or hackers (w/e) where none of them had heads (even headshots where imposible sience… there is no head!(got video and everything)), so I just played along and reported them but after 2 hours of my complain they where still playing, its like no one is checking the game to see everything is going as it should. I didn’t rage, but i felt a little bit disapointed that nothing happened in 2 hours.
As I said, I love the game but I think 343 still has a LOT of work to do an FAST, at least fix file share for god sake.
No you’re not as i enjoy playing Halo 4.
However, it is equally narrow minded to ignore the issues. Then and only then can you get a fair assessment of things, in this case in Halo 4. More so than praising it like a fanboy or bashing it like cynical movie critic that can NEVER be please with ANYTHING.
i dont understand why, but i believe that its like 90% haters on this forums. the people who actually enjoy the game are playing it right now having fun. i happen to be at work and this is one website that is somehow not blocked
Halo 4 is a phenomenal game, I will continue to play it, at least until I reach max rank
It’s only because a user forum such as this one is the perfect place for people to say what they would otherwise not say because they’re anonymous. Hating certain aspects of a particular Halo game has always been par for the course, but after the release of Reach it became increasingly popular to post a hate message and “like” the other ones. Complaining is way too easy. You will notice that most of the messages are “Halo X sucks” and not much more. The other ones are “fixes” that tend to make the new game play like the old one, thus sparking the “then just play the old game” response, thus guaranteeing more flame posts in that thread.
You will find more constructive posts in the matchmaking and general discussion forums. Generally speaking, most of the people that actually like this game are not even aware that there is a forum, much less post in it. Players that didn’t get what they wanted in a new release think that they can lead a boycott by posting here. They post a message and get their friends to post a “thank” and make a comment to give the thread some legs, and maybe even use some of their other forum accounts to up the ante. 343i probably knows this from what their former Bungie employees have pointed out, which would explain 343i’s lack of responding to those types of threads.
Halo is fine, Halo 4 is fine. Not perfect, but fine. The people that like it are playing the game, not posting in the forums.
I love Halo 4 - great game. That’s why I play it a lot and visit the forums to talk about it

nah. I love halo 4. But ive been neglecting some other games. so i haven’t been on in like 2 days. I do have some issues with the game and like every other game out there i could see room for improvement. But so far i have yet to see any of my issues pop on on the forums.
