I admit it, I have quit before. But some bull crap happend two days in a row.
I was playing Halo 5 Slayer yesterday and I quit a game. My team mates were literally just running around laughing joking not playing. I got a 20 min ban or something. I cam back and played. Dont remember if I lost or not, but then when game ends and looks for new player I was kicked out and banned for 12 hours. I didnt quit, lag out, or get a disconnected fron server message.
Today I was playing and I left to grab phone, my son grabbed controller and left game. I was pissed, thinking I may be banned. I wasnt, so cool. But then I play next game and we lose. Same thing as night before, when cycling to next game it tells me I am banned. This time 24 hours. No lag out, no disconnect, not anything on my end. WTH!!!
Then HALO has no appeals process. I pay to play my dang game. If I do something, I undertand if I am punished, but two times I didnt do crap. No error on my part.
No. I have been getting some weird issues. This last week. It has been reporting matches wrong. It was saying I was playing Halo in the future at one point. Weird.
You quit you get banned. Betray you get banned. Sit still for too long and guess what you’ll get.
It even tells you this when you click on a playlist.
repeat offenses result in longer bans. and from the sounds of it you offended quite a bit.
Even if your team runs around like chickens with their heads cut off don’t quit.
Lag drops have happened to all of us so learn when to play when your connection isn’t acting up.
And that last one you where idling. Refer to my first sentence for what happens when you do that.

It’s pretty ridiculous. A friend was kicked from our Warzone game the other day when he was standing on a the platoon commander’s wraith and it exploded, killing him and then the game gave him the boot because he had “too many suicides.” One, it was obvious that he didn’t kill himself, the wraith killed him or it could be judged that at fellow spartan did by blowing it up with him on it, and two; he never had any other suicides they I knew of during that game,I’m sure he’d of said something if he had. Had a few other irregular bans but they’ve not happened to me yet.

This. It’s cumulative as well. One quit is no big deal. A habitual trend of quitting? You’re going to get banned.
I wouldn’t say your bans were bogus you have several dnf’s, BUT seeing dnf in someone’s game history doesn’t always tell the whole story. I’ve been kicked out of a handful of warzone games and they all showed dnf even though I got kicked. I think they allow a few though, so ease up on the self inflicted quits and you’ll be fine.
I very rarely quit, but when I do, I don’t get banned. The only ban I’ve ever gotten was after I idled in a game because a friend started the game search while I was having a smoke. It was only 1 hour and I cleaned up my apartment. The system seems fine to me. You’re acting like having super special reasons each tintimee you quit makes it okay. Guess what, 343 doesn’t have a special camera watching what happens to you in real life. If you quit repeatedly, you get banned.
