It’s the domination game mode. I’m sure they have regular skirmish too, it’s just not in the beta right now.
So you lost because you ignored the only objective in the game and went after the enemy base (which usually takes 20-30 minutes to eliminate an enemy team by destroying their base, 12 minutes to win by capturing the points). It’s a beta, thet picked a short gamemode so they can maximize games played and find bugs.
Good lord, then you don’t like the game mode. The last half of the Beta will consist of skirmish.
You are not the only one, however, I think you’re more just unhappy with Domination in particular. I’m not a huge fan either, but I agree with Caon Brevok, the quick matches should allow them to work out bugs really fast while testing a new game mode.
The Beta is massive at 14 gb, I’m sure there’s other content in it that isn’t unlocked that they’ll add as the beta progresses
