Am I the only one who could care less about the battlepass? My gripe is with how bare bones ranked matchmaking is

In my humble opinion… Halo 2 was the best ranking system ever made. 1 to 50, win a couple games go up, lose a couple go down. Multiple ranks across multiple game types, Duos, Slayer, Objectives, Shotty Snipes. The jealousy of your buddy being a 36 while you are a lowly 23. The elation of eeking out a game 50-49, which could be the difference between ranking up or down.

Has the community lost it’s competitive spirit? I have seen nothing but complaints about armor customizations and mods… who gives a damn about what your character looks like it’s a FPS you cant even see him. (I admit some skins do look pretty cool)

As it stands now the ranked playlist spans across what 4 maps? And you can’t even choose your game mode its forced upon you. Where is the community outrage about how underwhelming and underdeveloped the ranked playlist is?? How are we more upset that we cant make our visor blue ?? am I losing my mind !?!?

343 recently posted their list of priorities (spoiler: number 0 was work life balance) and I saw nothing about any updates coming to ranked. Give me 2v2, 3v3, a SLAYER option for god sakes. Give me veto power over the map. Add a couple maps, recycle old ones if you need to. Mix a couple of the new weapons in the game.

Please tell me I’m not the only one that feels this way

I don’t care for lazy work, especially when a company uses nonsense like this because of their incompetence.

Bungie pulls this BS, always looking for ways to waste a players time adding more padded playtime. Am I supposed to be impressed that a multi-billion dollar company can’t create content for a game, but they can add grind to a game that is not even a looter shooter?

It’s actually pretty damn stupid that Halo has never been a looter shooter but the higher-ups are trying to treat it like one. The dumbest thing I’ve ever seen happen to Halo in Halo’s history.

I agree. I don’t care about the store or the battlepass. I will not be buying anything form the store or battlepasss, until there are a decent number of maps and all of the normal ranked playlists are added permanently. There needs to be ranked team slayer, doubles, FFA, SWAT, snipers. The ranking system also needs to not be trash.
