From what i played the Suppressor is powerful. The suppressor with active came or autosentry work in harmony with the pulse grenade. Burst firing is very handy too and when you crouch the spread isn’t bad at all.

I quite enjoyed my time with the Suppressor, and it definitely will have a place in my Loadouts.
I’m thinking that my loadouts will be mainly Promethean and Covenant. Looking forward to trying out the suppressor.
Seeing as halo 4 isnt out Im going to say yes.
Serious mode now though, Ill run mostly suppressor and AR. That is until i find a SAW on the map.

Suppressor looked pretty horrid in every gameplay I’ve seen with it. I’d run Storm Rifle if I wanted a close-up weapon. That gun looks vicious up close.
From what ive played i didnt use any Automatic weapons realy =(. I did try the AR but i didnt have a lot of luck with it. And the suppressor, as much as i wanted that gun to rock i just found it too weak… Thats just my opinion though lol, i didnt really get anough hands on time with it to truly test it out

I have to ask… why would you want to use a weapon that is only efficient at killing people in extremely close proximity in a gametype that has huge, open maps? I hope I run into people like you in BTB lol.

Anybody can be good with any weapon. Dont run to a judgement about ones playing style until you play against them. If you beat their -Yoink- horribly then judge away.

Ok, tell me what could be beneficial about using a weapon that is only good at close-range battles in a gametype that is about long-range, open battles? Try to tell me, without laughing, that a team of Suppressors would have any chance to kill a team of DMR users. Like just because we haven’t played the game doesn’t mean common sense can’t be used to determine that a Suppressor won’t be a wise BTB weapon to start with.
I just honestly wondered why Annihilator27 would exclaim that he was going to choose to use a Suppressor in that gametype. I didn’t ask for you to tell me if someone could get good with a gun or not… If he wants to run around with a Suppressor, more power to him. I just would like to understand the mind of a person that would want to do that in BTB. Can’t I ask a question without someone rushing out to say “oh don’t be mean to him!”… b.c. I wasn’t. Still would love to have him answer the question, I’m curious… which is why I asked lol.

Ok then. Just was making a point. Was not trying to cause any rage on your end. In your post your last sentence was “I hope I run into people like you in BTB lol.” I was just trying to politely say that not every scrub playing BTB with a suppressor is gonna suck. But I digress. No, OP you wont be the only person using the suppressor.
I personally intend to main the Suppressor and Storm Rifle. I’m glad the automatic weapons are finally useful, as I find them far more visceral and fun to use than the precision weapons (barring the Carbine, which is awesome).

AR and plasma pistol loadout number 1.
The Suppressor sounds pretty awesome to me and It will probably be in one of my load outs at some point.

One of the maps that is coming out when game is released is a close quarter map ( cant remember name ) and a close range weapon would own a rifle in this instance.
i’ll be using the suppressor, it sounds like an alien tommy gun
