Am I the only one that pays attention to

the story of Spartan Ops? Because in case you didn’t know, there is a story to it. It’s like an alternative Campaign and it does bridge Halo 4 to Halo 5. It’s not repetitive at all, and I may not be the only one who things that but it isn’t. It’s having us backtrack for a reason. The dialogue isn’t there for no reason because as far as I know, this artifact we brought up is obviously something, was at the location mission 5 of episode 1 was based upon and the Prometheans are pissed we took their tech and said -Yoink- you to the scientists that went back down to further study the structure and killed them.

Episode 3 may tell us what the hell this piece of Forerunner Tech is, or whats inside it, where the scientist that got absorbed into it went. Mind you the Covenant are still on Requiem and are probably searching for this artifact as well and Episode 3 may have us defending the Infinity from an assault we never know.

But god forbid, 343 puts a mode into a Halo game that extends the story after Campaign moreso bridging it to the next game thats enjoyable.

It is indeed a good extension of the campaign. I’m enjoying it a lot so far, and I think most people who play it do as well. If you don’t like it, why on earth would you play it? There’s not even a leaderboard, so there’s no way on earth to blame “being forced to”.

It’s a really good way to bridge the games imo, and I’m happy they just didn’t make some half–Yoinked!- -Yoink-, but actually made it an interesting story with thoroughly designed missions.

I would like to say to everyone who says that the story in Spartan Ops doesn’t make sense, I say that it will make sense as more episodes are released, just give it time. I bet in the next episode, that artifact from Episode 1 and the disapppearance of Gargarin Team will be linked somehow, possibly to that sphere in the first big room in The Refuge.

This.

Spartan Ops is set up like a T.V. show. It’s not supposed to reveal the whole plot in the first two episodes.

I’ve said this so many times. People just don’t listen though. Nice to see people who can actually use common sense.
