Playing as Locke was no different then playing as Arbiter, Rookie, and Noble 6. In order to expand tge universe, you need a little less Chief and more other characters. I am 100% sure we will see plenty PLENTY if Chief before it is all over. Not to mention people complained about playing as Arbiter at first (who has some awesome levels btw) he became a fan favorite.
I just to like Locke as a person deferentially after watching nightfall
I can agree… I don’t mind playing as other Sparans as well… have to disagree with playing as the Rookie as playing as an odst is different than being a Spartan.
I like Spartan Locke. It’s good to see fresh blood in the Halo universe, not just the same old Big Green. Here’s hoping they kill him off in the most badass way possible.
It’s not so much that I didn’t like playing as Locke, just that Blue Team got the shaft because I played so much as him.
Nope. Locke and his missions were dope. The campaign was awesome, just left me with a crap ton of questions.
I liked him, I just would have liked more Blue Team levels.
it wasnt any differnt than playing as chief just different voices and different skiins
I enjoyed the Locke missions and the whole campaign for that matter.
I enjoyed playing as him but for every mission but the last all I could think was why I was playing as Locke and not Chief. I never felt like I was doing anything but chase Chief until the last mission, which was my favorite
The only difference in gameplay was the artemis tracker. Don’t know why anyone would love playing as Chief and hate playing as Locke.

Master chiefs shield revives faster but think that’s it…
I didn’t mind playing as Locke, but he doesn’t have the same depth or drive that the Arbiter did. He’s just not interesting.

The Arbiter had active camo which made a different play experience from the chief. Lockes only real point of difference was you got to listen to Buck.
