I’ve played Halo from the very beginning I’ve never had any complaints with any of the Halo games. Why is everyone complaining so much about Halo 4? it is what it is. just shut up and play. Games aren’t going to meet EVERYONE’S standards and can’t keep EVERYONE happy. I’ve noticed the Halo companies update their game more than any other video game i know of. At least they’re trying…
I hate it. I try and play it but I rage after a game or two because of boltshot, overpowered DMR, spawning with stickies, Join in session, and insta-respawn. I can see if they had a few problems with the game, which every game has as release, but this is just too much. No wonder the population drops more and more everyday. But I guess some people love using camo+boltshot and will continue to like this game.

It’s been the same deal with every Halo game, and it’ll be the same when Halo 5 comes out when everybody says they’re going back to Halo 4.
I don’t use any of those in my loadout. And i don’t get frustrated when i get killed by botshots or camo guys because it rarely happens. Maybe people just can’t handle the fact that they suck at Halo 4.

I don’t wanna be a -Yoink- but you do not even have a positive kill/death ratio. You are more of a casual player and that is what halo 4 was made for. If you were competitive back in the past Halos then you probably would not feel the way you do, just saying. The people who seem to complain are the ones who are not complete casual players because we see the game going away from its roots.
Because it has moved too far from the core halo gameplay of previous games. One way to not make a game is to abandon the core fans you have had for years.

All of these detract from what halo game play was about. And many other small features just detract from it.
Change is necessary for a game to survive yes. But change for the sake of change or change the deviates from the core gameplay will ruin a franchise. If it had kept to its roots and not fallen in the trappings of modern shooters then that would be a different story.
yeah i know my K/D isn’t good. but I don’t care about that. Its because I play a lot of Objective games like CTF and I actually try to play the game and not just go for kills. by the way why does no one go for the flag in CTF?!?! why not go play Slayer if you’re just going to kill people. I’m always the only one doing all the work on my team and actually trying to win.
You are not the only one although I believe the people who like Halo 4 are in the minority on the Forum.
I personally love the changes Halo 4 has made.
Loadouts give me options, ordnances are fun, sprint helps me in objective game modes. The only thing I have a qualm with is instant respawn, but it is what it is.
I hate the game, i tried very hard to accept the changes, to enjoy it but I can’t and it gets boring literally after 1 game. But as a lover for the story and campaign that was the biggest disappointment for me. Custom games is only thing I enjoy but I would be a lot better.
I’ve tried to enjoy it, but as a Warthog specialist I can’t do it. Playing with friends using vehicles was the way I’ve always played Halo, and that is impossible to do right now, with everyone spawning with plasma grenades.
I can’t enjoy customs either, essential options are missing.
And Forge is horrible. Nothing to do with Reach.

But the JiP system really does test my patience with this game, sometimes.

I agree. I had 7.5k wheelmen in H3, and like 10 in this game lol.
I like Halo 4. One of the best yet. I just gave up playing War Games because of all the team vehicle killers, modders, and people who only play KotH for the kills and not actually winning. Ruins the experience.

But those problems were in all Halo games.
I like the game, but don’t like the changes that were added. Halo 4 is good, but has to much unnecessary additions.
I love spartan ops and I think the multiplayer is pretty fun. Haven’t been playing it much lately though.

But valid complaints about missing and/or broken content don’t hurt anyone.
Unless attempting to improve the game for everyone would somehow have a negative impact on your gameplay experience, in which case I’m sorry.

in order to get to there flag you have to kill some people…
