Am I the only one enjoying this?

The servers being down. Everyone is SR1, no custom loadouts, no specializations and I just played a game where nearly every player had an AR and 2 frags. I enjoyed it…

Anyone else feel like this? I’ll probably be sad when things go back to normal…

I don’t mind it at all and it seems to take more time to find a match.

It was fun for a few games but here are the thing I really miss:

-JIP. These unbalanced games are brutal no matter which side I’m on.
-lack of speed. The majority of my slayer games don’t finish with more than 600 points… Combined!

It gets boring for me rather quickly. I’m done playing the same Halo for the last ten years. Reach and Halo 4 are good because they finally further the game.

I get sick and tired of people who live in the past and want the same thing over and over again. It always makes me laugh that people can sit there and bash COD for being the same game with every release but for whatever reason, Halo is exempt from this mentality.

to copy and paste from a different topic in the Halo 4 forum on the same issue…

Yes, no joke. It felt real again. I found myself actually wondering where guns were on the map and then realized I hadn’t ever had to think about that in this game before because you can spawn/ordnance drop great guns. Make “Servers down” a playlist…

I’m upset with it

  • No good playlists (I was going to play Throwdown as much as humanly possible)
  • No JIP (hey, it’s good for social!)
  • Connection is down the drain terrible
  • Trueskill is disabled (I have players going -26, I don’t think they’re even trying)

At first I did, but it got tiring, particularly without the weapons on map to rearm from. Mostly it got old having the game say I couldn’t reenter a playlist. I’d have to back out of Halo and try again.

If they could make a classic playlist I would probably play the hell of it.

I thought it was amazing. I have replied to several thread about this and i completely LOVED it.

Everything made me feel like i was actually playing a halo game back in the old glory days where everyone is equal. The loadouts were awesome, no tactical packages or support upgrades made the game play better.

The game played flawlessly. Instead of people getting mad that halo 4 shouldnt play like this atleast understand it from a halo veterans point of view.

They could make a playlist that would play exactly how this does if not better. So why put down the people that enjoy it. “Oh its a carbon copy” or “no one wants to play the same old stuff”. Look at the forums… everyone is enjoying halo. Only bad things i have heard about this issue is lag or no JIP. Other than those 2 issues this error in the servers actually made this game more enjoyable.

Everyone on an equal playing field, nothing to show off or prove, no ranks (though i would love ranked and social), no care about stats (since they werent working) and just playing to win all made this feel more like halo 2.

Loved it and couldnt express my feelings more. Please 343i make a playlist like this already. Everyone wants a classic playlist. Just give it to us =]

I haven’t played in a while, but I’ve played when the servers have had problems before, and yes, that was really fun.

Let’s say Halo 5 is an open world RPG, RTS with Third persion perspective. You develop your character, lead armies and fight with them from a thrid person perspective. Only thing you need to do to get power weapons is to get resources and order them in, very easy. It wouldn’t be the same game, that’s for sure.

I find it ironic that you talk about bringing the game “forward”, or “further”, as it’s only been moved closer and closer to basicly every other modern shooter that floods the market. That’s not progress, that’s bringing everything to a halt as everything basicly is the same under the hood, just different packages.

Furher means COD which is the same game over and over again for last -Yoinking!- decade…Yeah Halo is evolving in my -Yoink-…

I enjoyed it too. Mainly being able to drive a Hog without getting blown up right away.

If we continue to flood the forums with positive feed back about this, i think 343 will give in, at least i hope they do.

If this happens often i’ll seriously consider buying H4.
If they do add a playlist with these features in it it will be the smartest move they have made so far.
