Because ranked is actually HCS in all but name. There is no ranked mode like previous.

I agree with you bro. Not having slayer and swat in a halo game is stupid. Ever since MS bought the halo series from bungie they have butchered all game releases. There hasn’t been a single release after halo 3 without major issues or controversy. It’s sad to say but they just suck as a game studio. Maybe in a year the game will be the full experience but I wouldn’t count on it. I’ll never forgive them for the original master chief collection that was never fixed.

Swat needs removed from the entire game until they can figure out how to counter aimbot users.
The fact that they have since added individual playlists shows that they found away around their trash UI system (which in reality was just an excuse. They never wanted individual playlists, they wanted to push everyone to quick play and encourage people tp spend money on challenge swaps). There’s no excuse to not have objective and slayer be in their own ranked playlist.
We need slayer ranked, swat ranked, snipers only, 2v2 etc…All the ranked modes that have existed in the past…because, ya know, this is a new game and should have equal to or more features than older games, not less.
The only excuse at this point is they want to wait till season 2 to add new ranked modes which is an acceptable reason. However, if those ranked modes dont exist or at the very least they don’t separate objectives from slayer in season 2…I’ll be completely done with the game.
I hate team games I miss the lone wolves playlist that was all I ever played in Halo3 I hate team games because nobody cares about winning as much as I do
FFA and SWAT work much better as ranked modes. My will to play social FFA is 0% and my will to play social SWAT is about 10%.
If they were ranked I’d play FFA until I was Onyx and I’d play SWAT every day.

Personally, I hate SWAT lol …oh I mean “Tactical Slayer” 
but I think it works much better as a ranked playlist. FFA I prefer ranked, but I don’t know if it’s popular enough anymore to warrant that. I love objective play, But time and time again has shown that an objective only playlist does not do well. I think objective gameplay is best left in Team Arena and BTB.
I also think the new mode attrition might play pretty well in ranked. I also think team snipers should be a rotational playlist and ranked. I know there’s some people that love snipers but the reality is team snipers is not that popular so it’s best to have it rotational.
Imo, ranked should have SWAT, Slayer, and FFA if popular enough. If doubles ever comes, I would have it ranked as well. I would obviously have HCS Team arena and HCS FFA if there is ever a tournament of that as well. I would also have ranked in HCS differently. By that I mean settings wise. It doesn’t matter what I think but I KNOW There are a lot of people that want say radar, non br starts in ranked mode, say in Team Slayer. Again, doesn’t matter if you love BR starts and no radar or don’t think radar has a place in ranked play but there’s a lot of people that do and a lot of people that like it AND a lot of people that won’t play ranked unless it’s like this. They don’t like the lock of weapon choices and how everything is pretty much precision weapons and so on.
Pretty much they need to do what say Halo 3 did and they have social play ranked play and MLG/HCS playlist(s)

Well it’s been a approximately a month since my last post and still no ranked slayer, swat, or ffa. Shame on MS. Are they trying to lose money? They, will surely lose players because of this. Even if they plan to add a few ranked modes in season 2 they will lose potential players that are testing the game now only to find there are no modes they like. They are a stupid company!!

If we don’t get them next week with the mid season reset then we likely wont see it till season 2. If we don’t see it in season 2 it likely will never happen and I just wont play the game at all.
yeah I’m with you. I am really confused ranked team tactical is not in multiplayer yet. Ranked team swat is one of the reasons halo was better than CoD. i miss the ranked team swat H3 days. Being em back 343 please. ADD ranked team tactical
I’m really hoping with the rank reset we will at the very least see Slayer, SWAT and FFA get a ranked playlist. I’m hoping we also get Snipers and 2v2 as well. This game desperately needs some form of content and with maps on the horizon for season 2, more playlists would at least give us something in the meantime. That said this is all wishful thinking given how 343 has handled this game so far.
