Ok so I don’t get why these game types are not in ranked arenas like it was in the past even H5 released with these game types if you wanted to have ranked just for these game types as it gives you more freedom and choice naming the game more fun.
What do you guys think about this am I the only one?
If you read their post about this update, it would explain everything. But some just cant read or don’t want to and still complain.

Eh, I really don’t see the point of everything having a social option and a competitive option. Swat is already sweaty enough. Ranked FFA just seems strange to me due to all the chaos.

There has been Ranked FFA in the past, its nice for those without a team to still compete. SWAT tho, only rank was in 5, and it was I think more for fun than anything. A comp scene for SWAT did grow from that, but its niche still.

I’d play FFA if it was ranked, social FFA is boring as hell.
SWAT I’ll still play but if it’s too easy I’ll have to drop that too. I’d prefer both to be ranked.
Happy for Slayer and Fiesta to do whatever the hell they want, I’m not touching either.

Them not saying ranked, implies they are not ranked. But reading comprehension must be dying.
It’s dumb because only slayer works with trueskill 2.0. I also wonder how their rank distribution is so messed up. 75% of the player base should not be platinum or higher in controller only and kb+m only modes. Probably the real reason why so many ranked games feel bad - players are lumped together way too much, we have potentially high gold players up in diamond 1 right now and it’s hard to rank down without actually just quitting.
Usually when they add in game modes that have been in ranked for every halo game I think I’d be fair to assume that it’s going to be in ranked my guy.
I agree these playlists shouldn’t be social, It defeats the purpose to grind….we need ranks on FFA,SLAYER etc
I’m not really looking to keep grinding arena I’m already burnt out…and have no intention on playing new playlists with no ranks…what a joke of an update…it only took 5 years to come out with the game I guess we should all just be patient 
All I really want is a ranked SWAT and maybe FFA.
Yes also in ranked we should can choose wich mode we want to play. It’s annoying to play almost every round Oddball.
We need the following playlists:
Ranked Slayer
Ranked Strongholds
Ranked Oddball
Besides Ranked, i hope for classic 8vs8 BTB (with BR and AR start playlist) with more vehicles (like H3 and Reach) and permanent power weapon locations.
I’m amazed at the number of people who don’t realize that the only real difference between ranked and “social” in Halo Infinite is that in ranked it shows your rank and in “social” it doesn’t. There are no actual Social playlists. All the playlists use extremely strict SBMM.
H2 and H3 had ranked SWAT, if I recall correctly.
