Hey slow down before you type a paragraph saying I’m not a true fan and how I’m so stupid. I’ve been a hardcore fan for quite a few years. But these armor skins are just hideous. I mean, is there a 9 year old designing them?
In all honesty, I actually liked the default primary and secondary from all previous games. I don’t know what sparked them to suddenly fancy armor skins and make them look like Power Rangers but jeez. I expected something awesome. I saw threads and was like “Nuh uh. This has to be good. BR Arctic. Niice. Forest. Uhm… what… Pulse? EW” And so forth. Am I the only one on these forums and thinks 343 could do a better job on the skins?
Oh, and one more thing before I finish this.

What are your thoughts on it? Love 'em or hate 'em?
You are no way in hell the first person to say these preorder skin bonuses suck. I am ok with forest, but its not great. Pulse is…how should I put it?..yoinking yoink.
What(?) With the 14 page Thread on them…(?) No, definitely not…(?)
Unnecessary sarcasm aside, well actually, maybe necessary, but whatever, they’re adding as much Customization as possible to add to the steps they’ve made to make it “Our Halo”…
They want us to be able to personalise our Spartan as much as bloody possible to make the Career in Infinity and the experience in Spartan Ops to be that much better…
Even though it does roughly bugger all, that’s the reasoning behind it…
And I for one don’t mind these Armour Skins, and don’t give a damn about some of them possibly being restricted to the Pre-Orders, I’m sure there will be plenty of others that will suffice…

Oh, sorry I didn’t see because I just got on the forums. My mistake. But I know it won’t affect Infinity it’s just looking at something that seems like it was designed by a child for professional use. I’m not sure if I’m using the right wording. My brain has been on over load since I just finished my Freshman year and took all my finals this week. So, I’ll at some points mess up cause I can’t think right /:
> …it’s just looking at something that seems like it was designed by a child for professional use…
Well if it’s the colours that throw you off, then if you didn’t know, you can change them to your own liking…
However, if you already knew that and you just meant the designs of the Skins themselves, then I assume there will be some better ones for you to sample in the full game…
And it’s also just dawned on me you could mean the Armour Design itself, in which case I can say it’s fair that not all of those designs could sit well with all Fans, but again, I’m sure there will be some better sets to choose from…
I myself actually think that what we’ve seen so far is better than Reach’s designs, which is good enough for little old me…
Im not too keen of the preorder bonus skins…but im sure one or five of the in-game skins will geab at me. I did like the skin used for the vidoc and Gameinoirmer
I don’t personally like the skins but the armor/helmet designs are genius. Too bad we don’t get a complete game no matter where we buy. I hated having to choose my preorder bonus for gears and I’m hating it with Halo 4.
you know they are just preference ou don’t have to wear them thats why you haave them if yo like the normal primary and secondary you can keep it, if you like the default BR you can keep it default
I’m alright with the addition of “Skins”, since they seem to be an evolution of the Armor Detail from Halo 3. My biggest problem is with skins for weapons. We really don’t need to start customizing our own weapons.
I like the forest skin. I think it’s a little too early to judge these skins before we’ve even seen them in-game; everything we’ve seen on this so far is nothing more than concept art. Maybe it will look goofy or maybe it will look great, who knows?
Personally, I’d say that the skins as well as the helmets they were pictured with look horrible in my opinion. Especially with the helmet design it feels like 343i had exaggerated with it to the point they look kind of impractical and ridiculous. For example, the CIO helmet: why is there an additional piece of visor over the Spartan’s nose? Or the HAZOP: what use does the upwards extension of the visor serve? All the helmets are overdesigned, maybe to look more intimidating. Regardless, I think they look absolutely ridiculous. If there is any helmet in the game that looks even a bit more “normal” like the original Mjolnir helmets in previous games, I’ll use that. If there isn’t, I’ll stick with the default.
I understand I just wrote a whole paragraphs only on the helmets, but I say the same about the skins. They all look rather ridiculous. I’ll be very likely to use the default skin. I’m fine with their addition, but personally I won’t use them.

I don’t see how HAZOP looks intimidating, it just looks depressed.

Agree exactly what I was thinking when I first saw these helmets design and skin and I know I’m not force to wear them so that a good thing
