Am I supposed to have gotten a Steam Code?

Getting an invite is not guaranteed. If you didn’t receive an email, then you didn’t get one.

Well I got one for the flight! Playing right now.

What I didnt get, is a way to install it on Steam like I have seen others do

There are two platforms that people have received invites for: Steam and the Microsoft Store. If you got an invitation for the Microsoft Store version you won’t get an invitation for the Steam version, and vice versa.

Ahh. If you got an invite yesterday, then it was most likely for the MS store.

I got a steam key. Were the invites random between steam and win store, cant remember if there was an option? I probably had my steam account linked.

Random, it seems; many people (myself included) got MS Store invites despite having a linked Steam account.
