I used to be one of THEM, those people who run around wielding the DMR, Boltshot, and AC.
But, I promise I have improved. After countless hours of rehab and self-help DVDs, I have finally done it. I now use the carbine, magnum, and PV. And I gotta say, it was worth it.
At least your not a DMR bad kid anymore. But your still a PV badkid. As for Myself I use the lightrifle/magnum on all my loadouts, with jetpack. But I play alot of dominion, and jetpack is essential.
I tend to use DMR, BR, LR, in that order, although I’ve started to not use the DMR as often anymore. I’ll admit, a vast majority of my kills are with the DMR. I don’t camp with it, I don’t use invisibility AA (that’s just stupid and boring)… The LR would be so much more popular without the DMR around. The BR is more fun to use than the DMR on maps like Haven and Adrift. I’ve also begun using the Storm Rifle, which is lots of fun on those two maps as well. I’m severely disappointed with the Carbine though. Maybe I’m just not accurate enough with it, but trying to nail an 8 shot kill face to face with a DMR/BR/LR seems to be highly difficult. Or maybe I just don’t know how to Carbine haha

Double standards right there. If you genuinely beleive it is n00by for people to play with the DMR, how is the jetpack alright?
Personally I think the anti-DMR/JP/BS/PV elitism is all ridiculous though.

Dudebro, Your most used weapon is a DMR with over 9000 kills. You don’t have the right to call people out on their DMR use.
Also, dat rocket launcher use in dominion is just ugly. Props on the K/D, even if does revolve around DMR spamming in objective and Rocket horsing in dominion.
Use whatever gun, or AA you like. The whole bla bla elitism on these forms is getting out of hand. If you like a gun, use it, if you like an AA, use it. If you don’t like the changes to MM go play another Halo. Its really very simple. Freedom of choice.
> Does anyone use regen field? Because that’s like my favorite and it’s never talked about.
Regen is definitely under appreciated. I find a lot of people don’t use it properly. I use it a lot, and when used in the right way it’s a devastating AA.

Good job dude. However, the Carbine is still a little noobish, so try the BR.

We also reserve the freedom to criticize you on the crutch mechanics you have come dependent on. So it is and so it has always been.
In CE if you used an AR you were absolute trash
in H2 if you used an SMG you were absolute trash
in H3 If you used an AR you were absolute trash
in Reach if you used an AR, Jetpack, camo or armor lock you were absolute trash
In H4 if you use a DMR, jetpack, pre-nerf boltshot, Camo or PV you are absolute trash.
Yes, I already know DMR is my most used weapon and guess what? I’m absolute trash. I’ve switched out the DMR though and only use Thrust pack, I am slowly pulling myself out of the gutter.

You are doing yourself a favor when you stop using those things. Seriously, you will start to aim better, strafe, improve map awareness and such.

More elitist -Yoink-.
In a game where the vast majority of the population plays with the DMR, if you play with the DMR (for an even playing field) you are a noob even if you do go 60-3.
I suppose it helps you to feel better about yourself. Vast majority of players use DMR, if you lose a 1v1 against the DMR you can say, “well he was using a cheap gun, of course I lost!”
> You are doing yourself a favor when you stop using those things. Seriously, you will start to aim better, strafe, improve map awareness and such.
I don’t use any of that stuff anyway. Used entirely the DMR up to now, but I maxed it yesterday so on to the BR for me. Hologram all the way for AA

Oh yeah! It’s very powerful if you know what you are doing. The initial burst can launch grenades and things away from you. Usually you don’t want to use it in the open. Unless you are wanting to give just that much of an advantage to take down another enemy. I had forgotten about that AA almost, no one talks about it here, and I haven’t played for about 2 months now. (Well I did play a few weeks ago because I heard it was on backup servers).
> Good job dude. However, the Carbine is still a little noobish, so try the BR.
Carbine noobish? Totally not! 8sk vs 5sk. You have to be a talented marksman to use the Carbine. Which is why it is my favorite weapon! Next to the Assault Rifle.
If you want to get better, drop the Carbine in favor of the Light Rifle. The Carbine is very inconsistent, and you won’t be playing to the best of your ability with it.
And with the LR, make sure to scope in the first shot. It will become a 4SK.

Well obviously I’m never going to blame myself for a lost battle. It’s always either because they are using a DMR, boltshot, Jetpack, or stickies.
I’m not really serious though, I mean I do believe the DMR outclasses the other rifles(Because it does) I still have no problem fighting them.

The carbine noobish? What? No way. That is the highest skill weapon in the game besides the Lightrifle.
