I like the idea about gold-onyx-silver-semi pro-pro or something like that. But why is it win/lose based? I worked hard to get gold 3 and i was almost onyx then i lost… And i lost a rank. -10… Really? What if i have bad teammates 343?! (I HAD DUH) Can we please for the love of god get a ranking system which goes up when YOU play GOOD. I lost two ranks today because of unfair teams… I’m sorry if i’m whining and i know this is just a beta…

Other wise it would be a campfest with everyone hiding in a corner. Besides if you cared so much for your rank you would play with a team not randoms
here’s the problem, people will only play for k2d if they know that’s what ranks you, win or lose. so nobody will try to play to win.
when i play games i play to win. i don’t care if i go plus 10 or neg 5 if it means what I am doing is putting pressure on the other team and helping us win and control map.
you are essentially saying you care more about high ranks than winning.
start focusing on doing whatever you can to win and you will have more fun and more rewards. a rank is a meaningless novelty that is designed to keep you hooked, playing more, and to give you a false sense of meaning and accomplishment when you lose.
