I got diamond in open and in solo platinum, what makes me less skilled in solo than in open? i play solo in both and its the same thing because team mates call out in both playlists, the only reason i can come up with is that its purposely set for you to rank lower or games are purposely made unfair more often in solo.

Are we talking a small difference or a large? Platinum to Diamond could be anywhere from 1 to 299 points.
Plus… I assume we are talking a handful of games here. That’s hardly a good sample size. One could easily have had maps and/or gametypes that favour your playstyle. Plus a bit of luck with teams. Over time your game history in both streams will even out and give a more even feel.
And I guess, they are going to be slightly different populations overall - so that will also influence where you sit on the skill curve.
Possibly because there’s a more widespread pool of players in Open and your MMR places you higher in that range of players compared to your skillset amongst solo/duo input based?
Could be a ton of reasons, but sure, let’s jump straight to the “343 hates just me” theory.
